Spectacular lake side location Gable Beach Vacation Suites is nestled at the lakes edge and surrounded by orchards and vineyards which makes this a peaceful tranquil place for you, family and friends to explore the unspoiled beauty of our area or just relax in your lakeside retreat. The Osprey suite is a modern tastefully decorated 2 bedroom carriage house that sleeps up to 6 people. The views are fabulous from the deck.

Gable Beach Vacation Suites is located in Carrs Landing in the District of Lake Country, British Columbia, Canada. We are just steps to Lake Okanagan. A public park is adjacent to Gable Beach Vacation Suites with picnic tables and a public swimming float. Outdoor parking is available for our guests and can accommodate parking for a boat.
A car is required for the area.
The Okanagan Valley is a popular tourist destination best known for the fantastic summer weather and fabulous snow condtions in the winter. Orchard harvest is from July to September with an abundance of apricots, plums, peaches, cherries, pears and apples.There is nothing like fresh picked fruit! The Okanagan is renowed for its many vineyards and wine festivals. This is wine country! Why not do some local wine tasting, wuth 5 wineries within a 10 minute drive, Grey Monk, Arrowleaf and Ex Nihilo to name a few. For the golf enthusiast there are many challenging golf courses within a 30 minute drive, Predator Ridge Golf Course is only a 10 minute drive. Coral Beach Park is close by where public tennis courts are available or why not hike the local trails and enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife. Water sports are very popular, boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing. Equipment rental and a wakeboard school are close by. Oyama Zip Line (not for the faint of heart) is a short drive. There are a great selection of restaurants and cafes that cater to your tastes most within a 30 minute drive.
There is so much to see and do in the beautiful Okanagan Valley you will not be disappointed. Come and spend some time with us.

My sister and I wished we stayed longer at Gable Beach. We were on road trip from Vancouver to the Rockies, and had a lovely stop-over at the lake.
We had a comfortable and clean suite downstairs, with a private deck. There's nothing better than having breakfast with a beautiful view on the lake. And nothing better than having drinks with the sun setting over the lake. The lake is only a few steps away from the house.
We had to pleasure to have dinner with Eileen and Gary and their family and friends. We got to know them a little better, they are lovely and friendly people.
Eileen and Gary are very helpful and know a lot about the area.

Great location a stones throw away from the O.K. lake. Room was clean and well kept with a good sized kitchen and a great balcony perfect for a "few" glasses of wine with the sunset.
Gary and Eileen were more than helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. -

I went for a girls weekend to Gable Beach and was greeted by friendly owners Gary and Eileen (and their dog Stormy) stayed in the Osprey suite. I found the suite was well maintained and very clean and had all the amenities needed plus a bbq to boot. well priced, and family friendly Only steps to the lake with a quite relaxing picnic area with boat launch and public beach to swim. We took a drive to winery only minutes away with wine tasting and fine dinning (left with a few bottles of great wine) we where to late for the peaches as the orchards season was finished we continued our journey to kelowna to the farmers market and left with great food to eat on our private deck over looking the peaceful lake. lots of trails and short drives to interesting places to visit like Chrystal's spa.Sparkling Hills short drive away.
I would highly recommend to both family's with children and also girls or boys get away i really enjoyed the view, cleanliness and location to amenities.
