Gable Beach Vacation Suites ( one of the best kept secrets in the Okanagan Valley) is located in Carrs Landing in the District of Lake Country, British Columbia. Situated between Kelowna and Vernon and just steps to Okanagan Lake.

The Okanagan Valley is a popular tourist destination best known for the fantastic summer weather. Orchard harvest is from July to September with an abundance of fresh fruit: cherries, peaches, apricots, apples, plums, and pears, Nothing tastes as good as fresh picked. The Okanagan Valley is also renowed for its many vineyards and wine festivals having 5 wineries within a 10 minute drive, Gray Monk, ExNihilo Vineyards, Arrowleaf Cellars and Intrugue Wines. Okanagan Spirits Distillery has 2 locations one in Vernon and one in Kelowna. Why not tour taste and dine! For the avid golfers there are many challenging courses nearby Predator Ridge, The Rise, Gallaghers, Sunset Ranch , The Quail just to name a few. Aspen Grove Golf Course is a 9 hole course located nearby in Winfield Water sports are very popular, boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking & canoeing. Equipment rental and a wakeboard school is available at Seca Marine is nearby in Winfield . Public tennis courts are within walking distance at Coral Beach Park or why not hike the local trails and enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife. For the thrill seekers Oyama Zip Line is a short drive.
Fresh produce is available at the farmers markets open various days from May to October located in Lake Country, Kelowna, Vernon and many more outlying towns.
Local galleries and museums are also open to the public.
Whet your appetite and tantalize your taste buds with amazing locally prepared food. There are many great restaurants and cafes nearby within a 30 minute drive.
Winter season boasts some prettyawesome snow conditions having two ski resorts within an hours drive. Big White Resort and Silver Star Resort offer plenty of winter options.

September 2012 was our 2nd visit to Gable Beach B&B.; Our first visit was the previous year when Gary, Eileen & Stormy made us feel right at home and we couldn't wait to go back. The accommodations were beyond our expectations .. everything was new and very clean and had all the comforts of home. We had lake front view & access and couldn't ask for better weather. Very close to golf & vineyards for wine touring. Close enough to Kelowna & Vernon if you had to venture to city .. but why would you want to. Continental breakfast was very nice and everything fresh. Our favorite part is knowing we will be going back next year!

Gary and Eileen were great hosts the acomodations were great with a separate bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and living area. A beautiful deck equipped with a barbeque and a table with chairs overlooking the lake. Very peaceful and very good value for the money. Would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to our friends. Thanks

Our hosts Eileen and Gary were very hospitable and made us feel welcome,comfortable and made every effort to make our vacation as enjoyable as possible. Our suite as well as the other suites we looked at were very clean and tastefully decorated and furnished.The location overlooks the beautiful lake and is in close proximity to the many excellent winery's as well as many shops and farmers markets etc.If your looking at just relaxing at the B&B; or into touring around, taking in the many things to see and do,I would highly recommend this B&B..Thank; you Eileen and Gary for a wonderful time and we will be back next summer.

I have stayed at Gable Beach for the past two summers. The suite is very comfortable, well maintained with everything you need. I loved that it has a covered deck overlooking the lake and it just feet to the shore.Gary & Eileen are very gracious hosts and make you feel very welcome.
