The newly-furnished apartment is on the third floor of a restored nineteenth-century building that stands in the heart of Verbania's historic centre, just 70m from the lakeside. Situated on a pedestrianized piazza, you are moments away from a host of restaurants, bars and cafes.
The apartment has two balconies, one of which enjoys a lake view. There is a lift as well as stair access. The accommodation sleeps 4 and comprises two bedrooms, a sitting-room/dining area and modern kitchen with refrigerator and washing-machine. The bathroom, which has a bath and shower, includes a clothes-drying area.

The beautiful town of Verbania is situated at the foot of the Alps on Lago Maggiore, and enjoys many cultural amenities, including theatres, art galleries, and concert venues.
There is a great variety of restaurants and shops, and a large open-air market every Saturday, where you can buy fresh Italian produce. The town is well-served by public transport. Within a few minutes walk of the apartment you can pick up a local ferry service, which runs regularly to all parts of the lake, including the beautiful small islands ('Bella', 'Madre', and 'Piscatore') and Locarno in Switzerland.
The town is also an ideal base for a winter holiday, as you can ski in the surrounding mountains.
