The Cottage is situated next to the owner's residence, which had been a bed and breakfast Inn at one time. Very Comfy !! My husband and I stayed here in april , the weather was not very good , lots of ice and snow , but it really didn't matter to us , the Highland Cottage was so perfect with the gas fireplace , very cozy , and sitting out in the hot tub while it snowed was so relaxing ! It was a very nice way to spend our 33rd anniversary !! Loved little Oliver also , so cute and friendly !! Would recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!!

A very nice cottage- more room than it looks! We loved it- close to everything, very quiet, we especially loved the dog who greeted us every time we returned! Has everything you need and the cookies were great! Cathy is a wonderful host. Clean, well furnished, very nice bathroom, fireplace. Perfect for couples but could sleep 4-5 comfortably. Will return!

Wonderful stay again, our second time here. Wanted for nothing, fully equipped, very quaint & very adirondack. Clean, well furnished, super soft hot shower water, warm cozy fireplace, complimentary coffee, orange juice, cookies & lots of other food stuff & all necessary food condiments, cooking utensils & dishes/cutlery. Loved the hot tub & surround sound in the gazebo. Just a walk down the hill to heart of Lake Placid downtown/mirror lake. You need not bring anything other than a tired worn out body in need of serious R & R. This is the place. Suited for retired couples, young couples, & families. Can sleep up to six but four is the ideal number.
