My wife and i have just returned to the UK from a 2 week stay in maritime canada, the second week at Lakeside on PEI, which we chose for its location close to the beach and golf at Crowbush Links. The house was large and spacious as described, with large amounts of decking which would be great in the summer. it was ideal for a quiet and relaxing stay while also travelling around the island. towards the end of September a lot of the local restaurants are closing so facilities locally are limited, but would recommend as a good base whether travelling or just to use the very close beachy cove and excellent golf course.
