3 bedroom waterfront house on 3 acres with beautiful grass and granite shore front. Captivating views from the yard, house, deck and balcony. Boats are often seen out in Frenchman Bay and tidal Raccoon Cove is abundant with wildlife including many seabirds and eagles nesting nearby.
The 1st floor has large glass windows and doors that bring in the surrounding views and natural light. The house includes many custom features including the well equipped kitchen with solid granite counters and a vaulted ceiling with a sky light . Acadia National Park is the crown jewel of this area and is just 15 miles away. With amazing views, hiking, swimming, rock climbing, kayaking, whale watching, fishing, live entertainment, galleries, shopping and wonderful fresh local food, etc, there is something for everyone. Mount Desert Island has many quaint and charming villages including Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Southwest Harbor. The Blue Hill and Deer Isle/Stonington Peninsulas are nearby and boast wonderful art galleries, restaurants and live music and concerts. The Schoodic Peninsula is 15 miles away and is a beautiful drive with lovely views and fishing harbors. Lamoine has 2 beaches on Frenchmans Bay with magnificent views of the nearby mountains of Acadia and easy access for boat launching. Lamoine State Park is just a few miles down the road and has a boat launch and picnic area. Kids love to swim and kayak in nearby Blunts Pond.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better place. It's a gorgeous house with two huge bathrooms, nice big sliding glass doors to show off the view of the bay, and a beautiful kitchen. The pictures definitely don't do any justice. The upstairs bathroom has a huge jet tub and the shower has two showerheads. We stayed in October and the colors were beautiful. Laurie and David were great to work with and we would definitely recommend this place for a couple looking to get away or a big family. I checked veryy good for location only because alot of the restaurants were closed for the season however the actual location of the house was beautiful. In the middle of the woods, right in front of the bay.

Incredibly beautiful house, property and views. Wonderfully peaceful, private and serene. It was everything we were looking for and more. So many nice touches in the house really made us feel at home! The very close proximity to acadia, Mt. Desert Island, Schoodic Point, and Bar Harbor provided many choices for things to do when we weren't staying at the house to enjoy the views. A fantastic vacation - thanks Dave and Laurie!

From the gorgeous view, to eagles and their young feeding in the morning, this truly is a retreat. After spending all day on Mt. Desert Island, it was great to come home to our quiet and charming home. Laurie and I must think alike because everything in the kitchen was where I would have put it! Fabulous home and very nice folks that own it!
