Description from the owner

This newly constructed building has been designed as an up market B/B, with panoramic views of the magnificent lagoon. All rooms lead on to the swimming pool deck. The rooms are tastefully furnished, with king sized beds and all are en suite. Emerald View is high up on a cul de sac, so peace and tranquility are assured, except for the odd noise of a Guinea fowl!!!

The owners are involved in a lot of the town's activities, so local knowledge is freely available.

    Bird watching in the famous West Coast National Park is a stone's throw from Emerald View.
    The town of Langebaan is a small town but caters for everything.
    Restaurants, banks, post office, shops, petrol station etc are all there.
    Lovely safe beach walks, swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, bowls. Only about 8 miles from Langebaan is the West Coast Fossil park.
    There is no public transport, but Avis and Europcar car hire is available.

      Großzügige Designer-Suite mit traumhaften Lagunenblick

      Wir konnten es kaum glauben, was wir hier für 890 Rand (All-In für 2 Personen mit Frühstück) vorgefunden haben:

      Nach herzlichem Empfang der beiden Gastgeber waren wir etwas sprachlos, als wir die Tür öffneten:

      Bei dem genannten Preis hätten wir eher ein kleines Zimmer erwartet - stattdessen betraten wir eine toll designte und dennoch gemütliche Suite, die einen fantastischen Rundumblick über die Lagune ermöglicht.

      Das Bad war ebenfalls sehr schön und geräumig: 2 Waschbecken, freistehende Wanne mit Lagunenblick und große Dusche.

      Das Frühstück war ebenfalls grandios. Sehr viel auswahl (Obst!) und auf Wunsch Eierspeisen.

      Sauberkeit war tadellos. Kleiner Garten und Pool vorhanden - wird man wahrscheinlich jedoch nicht nutzen, da Lagune so nah. Aufzug vorhanden für ältere und behinderte Menschen.

      Von 8 bereits auf Empfehlungen basierenden Unterkünften unserer Reise war dies einer von zwei perfekten Volltreffern. Insbesondere der Preis ist kaum nachvollziehbar günstig.

      Tipp: 150 Meter den Berg runter Das Restaurant Farmhouse besuchen. Haben wir 3 von 4 Nächten gemacht. Wir waren bereits 17.30 dort, um den unverbauten Blick auf die Lagune genießen zu können. 300 Gramm perfektes Filetsteak mit Beilagen für 130 Rand.
