Additional Location Information
Our three holiday gites are 6km from Lannion, an attractive Breton town, and capital of the Trégor region. It has a busy weekly market (Thursdays), where you can browse and savour some of the local produce. Probably Lannion’s most famous attraction, apart from its cobbled streets, and its 15th-16th Century buildings, is the Church of Brélévenez. The Church’s granite staircase, (containing 140 steps), is a very familiar image to locals and visitors alike. If you treat yourselves to a souvenir tin of delicious Breton biscuits, it is possible that this will be the image on the lid.
On the south side our holiday cottages face the garden, there is a sunny terrace for sitting and eating out. This garden view is framed by an avenue of beautiful shrubs and trees – from the pinks and blues of the hydrangeas, to the lemon yellows of the mimosa tree. A grassed terrace on the north side looks out onto open fields bordered by our cider-apple trees. The nearest field is home to two donkeys, a pony, and a horse.

LondonJust what we wanted.
Left on 04/08/2013 for a stay in April 2013
From the beginning of the process, Clara and Martin were very helpful. The place itself is a delight; the weather was pretty mediocre while we stayed, but the house makes up for it and is very cosy. The area is beautiful and much livelier than other parts of northern France we've visited. We will almost certainly return.

LondonA fantastic restful two weeks in Brittany
Left on 09/06/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Our family of 3 (mum, dad and 4 year old son) had a wonderful holiday at Gites en Trgor. The welcome from Clara, Martin and their two sons was exceptional. Our son loved the freedom of being able to play outside on the swings and slides and explore the local countryside.
The cottage was very well equipped and we appreciated the welcome basket, especially the homemade jam!
The cottage is ideally suited for trips to the coast, which was amazing and local towns. Our favourite activity was collecting shells and explorng.
There is lots to keep everybody happy!
We're planning to return. -

HarpendenA lovely cottage in a perfect location
Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this cottage and Clara and Martin made us feel very welcome. The cottage was finished to a very high standard. It was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect - remote and peaceful but everthing we wanted was within half an hour. The gardens were beautiful and our boys really enjoyed exploring them with Francis.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property as we enjoyed the first time so much. The house is clean and a really nice space to relax in. The environment is very peaceful but also close to Lannion town, a town we like very much, and wonderful beaches and seaside towns. There is a supermarket, and excellent bakery 5 mins away using the car. Hosts Clara and Martin are ever so easy going and pleasant and always try to make their guests' stay a memorable one.

Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We rented the Ker Toud cottage, which is a very tidy and well equipped cottage nearby the city of Lannion. The owners are very friendly and know a lot of the area.
The beds were very good and the kitchen is well equipped. The surrounding is beautiful and very calm.
There is a room to sit outside near to the nice garden, as well as on the back of the cottage, which means that there is always a sun spot.
Best house we've ever been to, and would definitely recommend to everyone! -

Bath, EnglandA superb gite in Brittany for the whole family.
Left on 07/11/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We booked this cottage mainly because it offered access and facilities for the wheelchair user in our party. In the event we discovered that it offered this and much more. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cottage.
The wheelchair and disabled facilities were excellent and included plenty of space, smooth uncluttered floors, wide doors and a very nice wet-room. In addition, the owners offered to organise other services and equipment should we need them. This helpful approach set the tone for the visit and Clara and her husband Martin went out of their way to help, both before and throughout our stay.
Our party of five included a two year old and a dog and the cottage was great for us all. The two year old was thrilled by the basket of toys waiting for him and the adults loved the very attractive interior design, interesting garden, beautiful surrounding rural area and the proximity to some fine beaches, coastal walks and excellent restaurants. There are no shops or bars in the village, but it's only a five minute drive to a boulangerie and a supermarket and ten minutes to the nearby town of Lannion for the weekly market. The roads in the area are pretty good and it took us less than an hour from the ferry port at Roscoff or less than two hours from St Malo.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend the cottage to our family and friends. We have no negative comments. -

PenzanceThe perfect place for a holiday in Brittany
Left on 04/13/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We booked 'Ker Louarn' at short notice for just four nights over the Easter Weekend, and had a fabulous time. Clara and Martin, and their boys Kit and Frances, made us feel really welcome, and Clara in particular, made every effort to help us get the best out of our time there. We took our bikes with us, and Clara lent us detailed maps for cycle routes, and walking tours throughout Tregor, which gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace and have lots of mini-adventures. From stunning coastal walks to 'off-piste' bike rides closer to home, finding ruined castles in wooded valleys, and ancient mills by boulder-strewn rivers... This was the perfect base for discovering what has become my favourite part of Brittany.
The gite had everything we needed, and comfy beds. We had a log fire every evening, and some very happy chickens just outside. The village of Ploubezre had a couple of good bakeries, one of which sold the most enormous croissants. The were good on their own, but Clara had left a jar of her home-made jam, (amongst other welcome treats)...the best jam I have ever tasted and together with the croissant, well then I knew I was in heaven.
Thank you so much Martin and Clara, for providing such a great place, and enabling us to have such a good holiday. We can't wait to come back! -

What can I say! A really peaceful and safe gite which is so relaxing. Our children loved exploring the very large garden and having lots of freedom. This was our second visit and my mother visited on our recommendation too! The gite we stopped in (La Grange) was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Lots and lots of great beaches and market towns around and about. Everything from unspoilt beaches to sophisticated resorts on the coast. Love it!

This is a really perfect base from which to visit this region of Brittany. Clara and family are excellent hosts - giving you enough space to do your own thing but are always ready to chat and recommend a place to visit. They are very sympathetic and warm - they arranged a bbq for the 3 family's staying which was excellent and even cooked moules and frites for all to share, they invited us to a concert held at the farm down the lane and took us along as guests, and the kids all playsed for hours in the garden al through the stay.
The gites are very well presented and comfortably equiped in a sensible prectical way - rather than a luxurious fashion. But Clara and Martin have an eye for the details and so are the gites are aesthetically very pleasing, with features such as fireplaces, stone work and beams brought out to the ful adding real warmth.
The main gardens are shared with plenty to keep the kids entertained, plus poneys and donkeys at the back and chickens and chicks. Each gite has an outside dining area which is nicely secluded.
This little region of Brittany is very well set up for holiday makers of all sorts - with a very wide range of activities to do and places to visit - all with in a very short distance (you never need to go more than 30 minutes in the car). Plus the access from the ferry ports is also quick and easy (2 hours from St Malo).
But at the same time the area doesn't have that overcrowded feeling (even in the summer holidays) - there are no traffic queues and there is always room on the beach.
We have been here two years in a row - and it looks like this could just be the beginning. -

We have visited this area many times before and love it to bits. We have had mixed results with accommodation so it was an absolute delight to find this lovely gite which ticked every box. The Cronins are fabulous and generous hosts in a quiet and discreet way. Our two grown-up children joined us and they too loved the gite, the situation, the local tennis courts etc. Would we return again - you bet!

We enjoyed all aspects of this gite. It was modern, clean, spacious, attractively decorated, well sound proofed, well equiped.
The owners were kind, welcoming, and helpful.
Location was great as beaches not far at all, and also large vibrant town 5 mins away.
Our children spent hours playing outside with other children. We didn't worry about them at all as the surrounds are peaceful and safe. -

We had a fabulous holiday here. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The gite is a modern, well-equipped converted barn in a peaceful, rural setting. Lots of interesting walks in the area, and there are beautiful beaches close by. Very child friendly. A wonderful, relaxing time.

I found Gites en Tregor on google last year when investigating holidaying in France, from the moment we contacted the owner Clara - she looked after everything for us from recomending ferry schedule etc. We travelled from Edinburgh and travelled with Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth. The journey was very manageable with two small children. When we arrived at the gites, it was even better than the photos! Our gite was beautifully clean, with little extras like fresh cut flowers, fresh eggs, Coffee/Tea and Breton biscuits waiting for us! When you settle in, you forget about your other life completley and enjoy all that the area has to offer, clean and picturesque beaches, beautiful coastlines, fantastic food at the boulangeries, restaurants and little cafes. Lannion the nearest big town which is about 10 minute drive away is a very prettty and typically french town with great restaurants and shops. The weekly market is a must! There is a little village near to the gites where there is an excellent supermarket, boulangerie adn the local creperie is a must!. We did lots of day trips to local parks, museums castles etc, and all the information about local attractions is in a folder in the gite. The owners are very welcoming and really know how to look after clients. They could not have done enough for us, and our daughters were well entertained by their sons!. If you want a home away from home and experience a beautiful part and way of life of Britanny, but have the comfort of local knowledge through an English speaking person, I would book here! Thats why we have booked to go back again this year!
