The Paddle House is a brand new luxury vacation rental house on the rim of the New River Gorge in West Virginia. It sits just down the road from Adventures on the Gorge resort, home of Class VI-Mountain River and The Rivermen. Guests at the Paddle House can walk to the resort and take advantage of restaurants, live entertainment, resort amenities, and all the outdoor adventures of the spectacular New River Gorge area. The Paddle House is located 1/4 of a mile past Adventures on the Gorge, home of Class VI Mountain River and The Rivermen. You will be turning left onto Peregrine Ridge Road and Paddle House is at the end of the road. You really can't drive past it because you'll fall off the edge of the New River Gorge and it's a long way to the bottom.... Please Note: Mapquest or Google Maps aren't very helpful, fyi. Peregrine Ridge Road isn't on their maps yet.... If you have any trouble, just stop at AOTG and ask for directions. Their staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Find Fayetteville, West Virginia. Take Rt 19 North across the New River Gorge Bridge and take the second left after crossing the bridge onto Ames Heights Road
Stay on Ames Heights Road. You will pass Adventures on the Gorge, home of Class VI Mountain River and The Rivermen (on your left and right).
Turn left on Peregrine Ridge Road, approximately 1/4 mile past Adventures on the Gorge. The Paddle House is at the end of Peregrine Ridge Road, overlooking the New River Gorge.

We traveled to the Paddle House for a boys' vacation that included 5 pre-teens/teenagers. We were greeted by a wonder staff at adventures on the Gorge that helped us with any questions or assistance we needed regarding the abundance of activities the area has to offer. We rafted, rock climbed and rode atv's.
The house was better than advertised and provided our family with a relaxing place to unwind, including a hot tub, incredible views, a fire pit and surround-sound stereo system. The kitchen, bedrooms and two laundry rooms were amazing. The bathrooms even had heated towel racks. We would highly recommend the Paddle House. -

What a wonderful peaceful and relaxing getaway. The house is beautiful with some great features like built in surround sound, 2 decks and front porch, gourmet kitchen, stackable washer/dryer on both floors, fireplace and 3 master bedrooms. I spent 12 nights and enjoyed cooking meals for Mom & Dad, drinking coffee on the front porch in the mornings and taking walks along the trails. It was important that I was able to bring my two dogs along. Such beautiful location and the people were friendly.

My wife and I spent a glorious time in Paddle House near Fayetteville, WVa. the setting of the house is magnificent, near the rim of the New River Gorge. The house itself has every amenity possible and we ended up hosting a dinner party for 14. Gourmet kitchen, sumptious furnishings and bedding, large ourdoor spaces, a wonderful hot tub. A luxury get-a-way tucked in the woods. We'll be back for sure !!
