Hillside holiday cottage has a beautiful riverside location in Brittany France 25 minutes from St Malo. Stroll into medieval Dinan with its castle, ramparts, pavement cafés and lively pleasure port. Walk to Léhon's own castle and abbey, swimming pool or tennis courts, pavement café and restaurant. Boulanger and a Tabac bar are close by. Dinan and local supermarkets are only a 3 minute drive. And it is only 20km to a host of beautiful beaches.

1 km south of the famous mediaeval walled town of Dinan, Léhon boasts its own 11th century castle and 13th century abbey. The Cottage (known as Hillside Cottage) faces the River Rance, which is a wide canal at this point, with a garden behind leading to a steep wooded hillside. The ancient village of Léhon is just 50 yards over the mediaeval stone bridge by the cottage where a footpath leads up to the ramparts of Dinan.

You couldn't have a more pleasant location than this cottage on the edge of beautiful historic Lehon and nearby Dinan.
With a canal path to walk or cycle along, some of the most beautiful beaches surpassing Cornwall within a short drive and great restaurants nearby, you couldn't fail to have a good holiday. The cottage is well equipped with a large living space and comfortable beds. The garden is also a bonus. -

We didn't get the weather we wanted bvut the cottage is comfortable and we had everything we needed, it was very clean and easy to find from the airport, and we had a lovely relaxing holiday exploring the local area. We would go back!!

Lehon is a wonderful picturesque and convenient location withing 20 minutes walk from Dinan. The cottage was larger than we expected with pretty much everything you will need for your holiday. The owner has kindly supplied bikes for those choosing to explore the Rance valley along the canal which I thought was a nice touch. There is a plethora of guides and maps for use including a French/English dictionary for those wishing to brush up on their languages. The cottage is a typical rustic affair pretty much what I expected although it may be a bit basic for some peoples tastes. Great value for money holiday.

Lehon is a beautiful village and this goes just gets you in the mood of France. A home full of character, charm and quirks which I love.
