This unique country house is built into an old underground water reservoir. El Aljibe holiday house boasts valuable artwork by local artist César Manrique, adding to its exquisite atmosphere.

This accommodation was built in the farm's aljibe, a water reservoir formerly used to collect and store rainwater, and once essential to the islanders' survival. Impeccably restored and converted into a romantic place of luxury and comfort, this holiday house meets the highest standards. El Aljibe is on a 4,500 square metre estate surrounded by farmland, perfect for a romantic getaway where guests enjoy the house's special light and warmth in addi...tion to personalized top-quality service.

The holiday house is divided into two floors, the lower floor occupying the original water reservoir. The lower floor is again divided into two levels, with the bedroom on the upper level and the living room below. A large window lights up the bedroom area and has lovely views of the garden. The roomy kitchen/dining area is on the ground floor. Light and perfectly fitted, it leads to the pool area and terrace, which is equipped with jacuzzi, sun loungers and other patio furniture.

Casa El Aljibe is located in Los Valles, one of Lanzarote's most picturesque villages, just minutes from the historic former capital, Teguise.

  We went here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was magical from the time we stepped through the front door until we left. The design, decor, welcoming basket, information booklet & the attention to detail are second to none. Champagne by candle light in the private hot tub/jacuzzi! The entertainment lounge with surround sound. While this is not a cheap option for a holiday a few days is worth every penny.

  Estubimos durante cuatro dias en El aljibe, la primera palabra al entrar "guauuu", la verdad esta genial, la decoracion, iliminacion, etc... muy buena todo muy cuidado. Sorprende la limpieza y el cuidado de todo. Con su cocina equipada con todo, ese pequeño recibimiento con Rioja. Lo mas grande la cama en alto, debajo de las piedras de silleria del antiguo aljibe, el salon falla el sofa, un poco incomodo. Y el jardin con el jacuzzi... bueno muy muy reconmendable. La verdad se te olvida el precio. Por supuesto volveremos. Saludos.
