I SORBI is a 200 year-old, traditional, stone farmhouse, originally a residence of the Medici family, which has been totally restored and converted into a lovely villa, with the swimmingpool, for a large group (max 18 sleeping).

The farmhouse is in a spectactular setting on a hillside with truly breathtaking views. It has been renovated with a nice sense of style and will make a memorable vacation home for a large family.

Pisa and Firenze airports are to 50 minutes by car.

Deliciusus tuscan meals are prepared from the owner's family to the guests ( group of min 10 people).

The farmhouse has a large veranda from w...here you can see the swimming pool, outdoor eating area and bocci court. On the top floor of the farmhouse is a large solarium terrace with a splendid view of the entire valley below. It is a lovely setting.

We have a small, but comfortable 2-room flat on the ground floor. It has a sitting room with an open kitchen and fireplace. The double bedroom has a large bed with space enough to add an extra bed for a total of 3 people when required. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. A door leads to an outside eating area and a wonderful view.

A stairway leads from the entry to the first floor where this Is a traditional apartment with a large kitchen and living room. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower sink and toilet. It can accommodate 4 guests, with a sofa bed in the living room for an additional 2.

In the other side of the house, on the groundfloor the big kitchen and dining area can accommodate up to 18 for communal meals. There is dishwasher and a comfortable sitting room with fireplace. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Upstairs on the first floor there are three double bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a single bedroom with a door to the veranda from which you can see the farmyard, pool and dining table. From the veranda there is a stone stairway to the garden. In one of the double bedrooms there is a stairway up to the second floor where there is a large twin bedroom (one single and one 120cm), a bathroom with sink and toilet and a solarium terrace. This solarium has an open view of the valley.

4km S. Rocco di Larciano, most facilities (supermarket, pharmacy, bank, post office, cafes, restaurants, tennis. Pistoia 15km (train and most services) , Lucca 25km (walled city), Florence 50km, Viareggio (beaches) 70km, Forte dei Marmi 80km (elegant beach town) .

The town of S.Rocco di Larciano has all necessary facilities including supermarket, pharmacy, first aid, bank, postoffice, enotecas, restaurants, tennis courts, a lake for fishing, and the naturalistic bird watching of the Padule di Fucecchio. Supermarket is open every day except Sunday from 7.30AM to 8.00PM. On Sunday there is a minimarket in S. Baronto Village, 4 km from the villa which is open in the morning and in the afternoon. There is a bakery open everyday (in summer Sundays too) 1,5 Km from the house. The Montecatini golf course is 6 km. This area is ideal for walking, running, cycling, mountainbike, spas (Grotta Giusti Terme 10 Km), tennis and golf.

In addition this is an ideal location to tour Tuscany's major attractions including Florence, Lucca, Siena and the seaside communites of Viarreggio and Forte di Marmi.Read more
