“Relaxing” This was the first time every staying on a houseboat. We were a little apprehensive to began with, the boat swaying in the wake, but it didn't take long to get use to the motion. Then there was the spectacular views of the yachts, fishing boats and barges passing right in front out you on the Intercostal waterway. Then just about evening Dolphins would pass by, just amazing. We enjoyed fishing from the front deck, not much luck, but very enjoyable. The condo was clean and comfortable. Not to far from downtown Beaufort, we enjoyed the sites there and the surrounding area’s as well. A very enjoyable and peaceful stay. Thanks

We loved the place. It looked out on the ocean, which just a dune away, the area was quiet, pool was clean and cool. We were told there was another pool that had more sun but never tried to find it. We were very happy with the condo, nice kitchen, had laundry so we returned home with clean clothes. The balcony is the only place I had issues. It is a decent size, maybe 5ftx10ft and is screened in to keep out bugs, both good things, a nice ocean breeze. The sliding glass door needs new rollers due to the salty atmosphere, it was very hard to open and close. Found some wd40 in the laundry to spray on the track and it helped. I spent a lot of time on the balcony reading and relaxing when we were not on the beach, at the pool or visiting one of the nearby attractions. We had 4 adults and a 6 year old. … see more

Memories made

This was a beautiful home and offered a lot of space for everyone. There were a few issues we had however they didn't cause great problems for us such as burned out light bulbs, TV's that didn't work the first day, very slow wifi, a 1/2 bath (which was one that was used a lot) wasn't clean upon our arrival and took several days to get someone in to clean it. Emerald Isle Realty staff was always friendly. The swimming pool was amazing. the house was maintained relatively well. We did find dried up food on some of the outdoor tables from a previous renter. UPDATED KITCHEN - AMAZING VIEWS
Great location, newly updated

We loved this unit and the location. I did not give it 5 stars because the toilets need to be replaced. However, the rest of the unit has been updated. The kitchen and appliances are all new and great! Quite dishwasher - we never heard it. Washer and dryer are large capacity and were great. This is an open plan, kitchen flows right into dining and living area, and the dining area and living room were updated, comfortable, had had plenty of seating. The unit overlooks the pool area and has a great view of the beach. The beach is only a few steps away. The master is large with a walk in closet. Each of the other 2 bedrooms have a bath as well. They are all a good size. There is a hall closet that does have beach itens, chairs, an umbrella, and toys. There are some cleaning supplies and kitchen stuf, dish soap, etc, that I think other renters have left. But, know that you have to take your own toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap and laundry detergent Do not count on any starter items. If previous guests leave them you will have them but it is not part of the rental fee Take garbage bags as well. We loved it! It would be nice if there was an awning outside the living room sliding doors that could be extended during the mid day. We would go back in a heart beat. … see more

Could not have asked for a better property or location for our relaxing get-away. Check-in process was flawless and professional. Location is just minutes from excellent restaurants. A walk on the beach then a swim in the pool was just what we were looking for. The condo is the largest we have rented....very spacious, well kept and well furnished. Lovely master bedroom separates the main iving area from the other 2 lst floor bedrooms. The kitchen faces the living area and is open to a second dining area.
