We visited Kauai for our friend's wedding at Shipwreck Beach in Poipu at the beginning of May. I was very fortunate to be able to find this gem of a house as our home base for the stay. The rental process from start to finish was seamless as the owner was responsive and attentive to our needs. The house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The backyard was used as the "First Look" for the bride and groom to be. They revealed themselves to each other in the tropical setting on the day of the wedding as the moment was captured by the wedding photographer. The home is very spacious and has all of the amenities that you could ever need. The kitchen is big and spacious, which helped us save lots of money by being able to eat in and enjoy some home cooked meals. The rooms were very clean and each had comfortable beds to sleep in. The garage includes a washer and dryer and even had boogie boards, a surfboard, beach mats, and beach chairs for us to use on the trip. Some of my favorite moments on the trip were drinking coffee on the wrap around deck as I watched the sunrise each morning over the mountain tops. I can't wait to return to this beautiful island and will rent this house again without giving it a second thought. Mahalo Lyle and Renee Otsuka!

this is our second time renting the house and we love it, as did all of our guests. Lyle and his wife are great owners, good communicators and take very good care of this residence. There are all the goodies for the beach included, chairs, mats, boogie boards, coolers, toys for kids, etc.

This home (our second stay says ton's.)is fantastic and exactly as described,great decor,clean,well maintained and exceeded our expectations.The home is ideal for a family vacation providing everything needed for beach fun(10 minutes away)chairs,coolers,boogie boards and snorkel equipment.Minutes to HWY #50 allowing quick travel to all other attractions on the island.The landlord is very friendly & accommodating.I would highly recommend this rental.

My family stayed here for a weekend while visiting relatives on the island. The house had everthing we needed and more. It was clean, spacious and convenient. We loved parking in the garage, cooking our own meals, eating arouond the dining table and having a place to just hangout. We usually stay at a hotel but are planning to rent this house again. Hopefully we can stay longer than a weekend next time and make use of all the beach equipment the house had available. No complaints!
