You cannot fail to be captivated by the Dordogne s rich array of attractions from its fine cuisine and wines to its amazing prehistoric heritage. Whether you like long lazy gourmet lunches al fresco, or exploring pretty hill-top villages, where the ochre stone buildings seem to radiate sunshine, or seeking out a local delicacy in one of the many vibrant markets or simply messing about on the... river, you wontt be disappointed.
Le Hameau de la Vezere residence, is in a delightful hillside location with panoramic views over the Vezere valley, just a short drive from Le Bugue. Each of the 82 bungalow and semi-detached houses has its own terrace with garden furniture and a small private garden (unclosed. The outdoor swimming pool (11m x 10m) with paddling pool is heated and there is also a sauna and a whirlpool (from June). There are also table tennis, mini golf (clubs can be borrowed ate reception), breakfast service (to order the day before), bike renting, in summer there will be a daily market on the central square of the residence so that people can meet as well as buying fresh products and free Wifi at reception.
The semi-detached house is 37 m², is on 2 storeys and accommodates up to 6 people.
The living room has a sofa bed or 2 pull-out beds and a dining table and chairs for 6 people. A TV can be provided upon payment of a supplement.
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob and extractor fan, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and a fridge as well as pots and pans, cutlery and crockery for 6 people.
On the first floor, there is one bedroom with either 1 double bed or twin beds and a further cabin room with either 2 single beds or pull out beds. The bathroom with a bath is also upstairs and a separate WC is downstairs.
There is a terrace with garden furniture and a small private unclosed garden.

Les Eyzies de Tayac, which is the internationally renowned capital of prehistory is only 5km away and close by, the marvellous Lascaux caves. The original caves have been sealed to protect them for many years now but Lascaux 2, the replica, is quite awesome and an absolute must to visit. Sarlat, capital of the Perigord Noir, is a charming historical and artistic town which every Saturday is engulfed by a vibrant market selling all manner of local produce and artefacts. The Perigord Noir Aquarium in Le Bugue has over 6000 fish on display and also in Le bugue is the 'Village du Bournat' a museum of the 19th century.
