Residence with a large heated outdoor swimming pool, Le Domaine du Phare, classified as a 3 star residence by the French Board of Tourism, offers semi-detached houses situated at 1.5km from Le Verdon sur Mer, a magical place right at the tip of the "Pointe de Grave" , where the water of the ocean and that of the Gironde River meet together and mix in a unique spectacle opposite the coast of Charentes.

Accommodation and facilities

The resort of Le Verdon sur Mer, situated 100km from Bordeaux, is well known for its two beautiful beaches, its three lighthouses and its four ports. It is paradise for all water sports (surfing, body boa...rding, sand sailing, water skiing) and swimming. Vast white sandy beaches extend for nearly 40km offering large expanses of open space right on the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled in the heart of magnificent forests and dunes, with numerous cycle and hiking paths, the Domaine du Phare Residence, classified as a 3 star residence by the French Board of Tourism in January 2009, is a superb place to relax, stroll or partake in sporting activities.

Situated 2km from the Gironde beaches, 1,5km from the centre of the village of Verdon sur Mer, and 3km from the ocean beaches, Port Médoc and Pointe de Grave, this superb residence will be made up of traditional regional houses with a large shared heated outdoor pool (10x15 m), a children's paddling pool, and a large poolside terrace. Other recreational facilities include a children?s play area, a petanque playing area and table tennis. The residence, opened 28/04/2007 and is made up of mainly 75 duplex semi-detached houses (except for the disabled accommodation which is all on one level) of different sizes to accommodate parties ranging from 4 to 6 persons, each with its own terrace and garden.

This house for 6 persons, has a surface area of 42m ² laid out in three rooms.

The living room has a sofa-bed for 2 persons, in which there is a corner kitchenette equipped with a 2- ring or a 4-ring electric hob, a fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave oven with grill.

There is also a Satellite TV (with extra charge- See Practical Info section).

On the first floor there are two separate bedrooms with either a double bed or 2 single beds in them.

There is a bathroom and a separate WC.

The house has its own large terrace with small garden which is not enclosed but is equipped with garden furniture and parasol.

There is a shared BBQ.
