      Beautiful Property

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in March 2013

The property was very beautiful. It had all the ammenities listed on the website. The hot tub worked great and had a great view of the hills. The deck has a beautiful view and the windows are big and provide a great view of the scenery. The renter was very easy to work with and provided many useful tourist spots. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to all my friends!

      Fabulous family vacation

Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012

We took our children skiing for the first time at Terry Peak. I emailed the owner and he called me back immediately to answer my questions. It was located a couple of minutes from the cabin, and perfect for our beginning skiers. The cabin itself was in a great location and was a beautiful "home away from home." 10 of us stayed with ages ranging from 4 to 83 and we had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and everything had a very "homey" feeling. We loved using the 2 fireplaces at night and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of pots and pans, dishes, and silverware. The washer and 2 dryers came in handy after skiing all day. The views were beautiful from the deck. We had a foot of snow the morning we were supposed to leave. It was gorgeous, but we were a little afraid of trying to get out. We put calls into Crystal, the housecleaner, and to the owner. Both were very accomodating with giving good advice and extending our check-out for a couple of hours until we could get out safely. The roads were well taken care of and we got out without any problems. Our kids are already planning our next trip to the Black Hills and the cabin! We would highly recommend this property to anyone travelling to the area.

View of the Top of the Forest

Wonderful! Just one word of many to describe our stay! From the fist contact with the owner to our locking the door of the Beautiful house in South Dakota. The view is spectacular ! Sitting on the deck,in October with a coffee in morning or glass of wine at sunset, well it couldn't be better! The beds were über comfy. All of them. The bunk room was roomy and all beds were a good size. The hot tub was used every day and very big. We used the gas grill and it was simple. I wold love to come back again. The owner Delf, was so helpful, we ate at a few places he suggested, my 16 yr said it was some of the best . We all agreed. It would be also great in winter, right next to the skiing . Thinking of the girls long weekend next time!

      Million dollar view

Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012

During our 4 day 3 night stay at Eagle Vista we took in the scenery of the Black Hills as well as the spectacular view off the back deck! We didn't have to leave to see wildlife, beautiful fall colors, and enjoy the fresh crisp air. The beds were so comfortable, even the bunk beds. The kitchen was great fun to cook in and the soundsystem to stream music throughout the cabin and outside was great. The group of women that stayed all agree it was the best place any of us have stayed at any time in the Black Hills...we're planning our next trip already!

Great for spending time alone or with family and friends!

Left on 06/15/2012 for a stay in June 2012

This cabin rental found on Vrbo was awesome right from the start. From inquiring about available dates and details about the cabin to our follow up call from the owner after check out. All questions were answered within one or two days and always answered in their entirety. The cabin has great views and is very comfortable for a large family or for friends wanting to have time away. There are things to do together or if you need time alone the home is big enough to allow that as well. The hot tub and foos-ball were a huge hit with the kids. With Deadwood and Lead both a short distance away it was easy to find dining and entertainment. Louie's Saloon which was recommended by the owner does indeed have the best burgers I have had! I love the beauty and nature surrounding the Terry Peak area and can't wait to visit again!

The cabin is set on one of the best lots on the mountain. You are completely consumed with the hills and the sunset each night. It's peaceful and serene. Ammenities were great, personalized service was deeply appreciated!
