Located on Deer Mountain ski area, Juniper Retreat is a warm and welcoming vacation getaway! You will love the cozy, cabin atmosphere and woodsy decor.
The main level has an open kitchen, dining and living area, gas fireplace, large flat screen T.V. with satellite, one bedroom (queen bed), one full bathroom, washer & dryer and 2 different decks to enjoy the Black Hills! There is also a spacious loft with 2 full-size beds.
The cabin has great privacy, lots of parking and a single car garage for your bikes!

We stayed at Juniper Retreat in July with our family of 6. We have four kids ages 9 yrs, 6 yrs, 4 yrs, and 2 months. All of the kids had a great time. They loved sleeping in the loft and exploring outside.
My only complaint was that I wish there had been air-conditioning. The house got quite warm during the day. We fortunately were not there much during the warmest part of the day so it wasn't bad, but had we planned on staying at the house it would have been quite miserable. At the very least, more window coverings and fans might have helped. At night the temperature was fine. Also the coffee pot didn't work, but I left a note and am sure that would be an easy fix. Certainly not a big deal.
Over-all we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Location was great! House was super cute and clean! Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck in the mornings for breakfast. Nice cozy, quiet little retreat! Thanks for a wonderful vacation! -

This was the perfect location for our honeymoon. It was comfortable and secluded. I would choose this over a hotel any day. We can't wait to go back!
