Great location - quiet area with great views and yet minutes away from town and also many trails. Very nice and accommodating inside and well stocked kitchen accessories. We had a great time.

We found the owner (Gwen) to be very responsive and proactive, and a pleasure to work with.
We really liked the unit - we wanted a snowy, relaxed winter vacation, and the guest house really provided that.
The location was just gorgeous in the snow, and we took advantage of the proximity to the Sleeping Lady for a couple of brunches and also took Gwen's recommendation for a lunch in Leavenworth.
We loved the views, the garage space for our vehicle, the excellent wireless connections for our phones and computers, the good TVs, and the thoughtfulness displayed in virtually every detail.Response from Gwen Vilches - 03/04/2013

It is really great to be able to share our favorite places to eat, shop and recreate with our guests. We love to share our "insider" info! A lot of love and care went into making the guest house somewhere people will want to return again and again. Thanks!

My husband and I spent Christmas at the Icicle Creek Guesthouse...what can I say? 2' of snow, icicles hanging from every window, ponderosa pine trees, a stunning view up icicle ridge. The guesthouse is warm, charming, comfortable and well furnished. It was a great place to relax after a day in the snow. Having across the street access to The Sleeping Lady was also a treat. We hope to return in the future.

My family are vacation rental veterans. We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals, and really wanted a comfortably space to house our family of 2 adults and 2 kids for our vacation trip across the Pacific NW. We decided to try this space and was not disappointed. The space is ideally located with easy access to town while offering a spectacular views of the mountains and the beauty that is Leavenworth. We were really enchanted by the location as well as the layout of the space. My wife especially enjoyed taking the kids out for strolls around this idyllic property with its easy access to trails. It is tastefully decorated with everything that a family or guest would need. The owners are extremely responsive and very eager to offer tips to some great foodie spots in the area. Gwen (owner) was very sweet and generous with her time over the phone when we had any questions. Definitely a place that we will stay again for our next visit and would highly recommend this spot.

My wife and I wanted a econmical and centrally located guest house and found it. It's only 3 miles from downtown Leavenworth and at the foothills of the mountains. Great for climbers, hikers, and any outdoor enthusiast. Guest house is clean, incredible view, and fits our budget.

We are outdoor enthusiasts as well. This is why we chose this great location to build our guest house! Ski season is approaching fast! Walking across the street to ski and snow shoe is so wonderful. We are glad you had a good stay. Hope to see you back again soon!
