SeattleUltimate Lodge Experience
Left on 01/21/2013 for a stay in November 2012
The Marianne Lodge is the largest of the Brunner lodges and has the most amenities including a nice theater room with 3 leather couches in tiered seating and surround sound. Nice if you have kids going. They can pile in there. However, if you are going with adults, we noticed it separates the group. You may find you dont see some of the people all weekend.
The huge dining room table is awesome to get everyone together. The rooms are all so nice and the beds are really comfortable.
We had about 5 or 6 cars and there was plenty of parking for us. The river was a short walk down. While all the lodges are in the same general area, there is enough space & woods between them that you dont feel like you are right on top of the other cabins.
While the kitchen is pretty much stocked with what you need for a regular weekend, we always tend to bring our big serving/cooking spoons, spatulas, casserole dishes and we a big stock pot to make a huge stew for everyone. So if you are worried they may not have something, just bring it. Also bring paper towels, bath soap, things like that.
If you get the internet, realize its the Verizon Wifi which means if you get more than 2 people trying to use it, you'll experience problems. With lodges this classy, its the one thing I wish they would just install, permanent Wifi. If they have Satellite TV, they should be able to get internet through them.
Every one of their cabins is perfect for not only relaxing if you want to go that or for enjoying a weekend with a bunch of people. Very close to Leavenworth as well. There is also a small General Store nearby (within 5 miles). There is a Safeway Grocery Store in Leavenworth about 30 minutes away.
Whether you go with this lodge or one of Brunner's other lodges, you can not go wrong. This is the log cabin experience. Not some place called a cabin but its really a modern house in the woods. This is a log cabin with all the conveniences of home. We'll be back every year.

RentonWinter Wonder Land Weekend Getaway
Left on 01/19/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The home was immaculate! Loved having so much space for 8 different families. Loved the theater and game room for the kids to have their own space too. The kitchen is a cooks dream! Beautiful, spacious home.
We had great service! We got 3.5 feet of snow over the weekend we were there and were too scared to drive home when the day came that we were supposed to leave. They gave us an amazing deal to ease our minds so we didn't have to drive in the weather. They plowed the roads good enough for us to get out if we had to though.
It was a little farther from town than we wanted, so we almost didn't rent it, but we are sure glad we did!

SeattleWe love this lodge!
Left on 01/18/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Our extended family rented out the Marianne Lodge for a weekend and we loved it! The lodge is very spacious and well taken care of. The gigantic kitchen was perfect for feeding such a large group. We also enjoyed the big family room complete with a tall Christmas tree. Overall we had a great experience here and can't want to go back next year! The only downside was that the wi-fi didn't work everywhere in the lodge, but that was a small downside compared to all the great things about this place!

Seattle areaFabulous weekend!!!
Left on 08/20/2012 for a stay in August 2012
What a fabulous weekend we had at the Marianne Lodge! We were there to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. They were so pleased with the accomodations. It really made our weekend. Everything was exactly as pictured and described but much much better. I've enjoyed several vacation rentals in the past but none as wonderful as this one. Some vacation rentals have dishes/pots/pans/utensils that are well used and kind of scary. The Marianne Lodge kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a couple of large family dinners. Lots of room for cooking without stepping on each other's toes. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds very comfortable. The a/C was a blessing since it was 95 outside one afternoon. We had a total of 12 adults and 6 children. There was plenty of room for everybody! We searched and searched for an appropriate place to have our gathering and the Marianne Lodge exceeded our hopes and expectations. we even took our family pictures down on the sandy beach and one absolutely fabulous picture on the stairs. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Our house was ready early, so we were able to start out family reunion three hours sooner. The house was amazing. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and there was plenty of room to move about. The theater was a big hit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and BBQ . The location was great! next to the river was very peaceful. The whole family, all twenty of us, want to return next year!!!

SeattleIncredible weekend!
Left on 04/06/2012 for a stay in March 2012
This cabin is amazing! After researching multiple cabins in the area we decided on the Marianne Lodge, and I am so glad we did! It is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed here with my husband and 13 of our friends for a ski/snowboarding weekend. The location of the cabin is perfect. It's a pretty short 25 minute or so drive to Stevens Pass. Everything about the cabin is awesome. I fell in love with the huge kitchen and the hot tub. All my friends now want to make this a yearly trip. And half of them have to come from the east coast! If you are debating renting this place for a weekend, don't hesitate. It is totally worth it.
