Left on 05/30/2013 for a stay in May 2013
The Corn Mill is located in a beautiful area of the country - close to The Malverns and Welsh Boarders. The conversion of the old mill has been thoughtfully and beautifully carried out to create a really well equipped and comfortable cottage.
We were made most welcome and would certainly consider returning. -

A terrific and well appointed property with great views toward the Malvern hills. Ideal for our stay visiting the Malvern Spring Garden show and for day trips out to places south in the Forest of Dean and north up to the pretty town of Ludlow. Lots of good places to dine and shop locally in Led bury and a good number of individual shops and craft galleries within easy reach. Super welcome with generous food pack on arrival and real attention to detail to making our stay memorable. Plenty of room for 2 couples with 2 desperate bedrooms and bathrooms. Great outside space and garden room. Fully deserves title of luxury accommodation in a great location.

The Corn Mill on a working hop and cider apple farm set in beautiful and peaceful countryside was a spotless and beautifully decorated accomodation with everything to the highest standard. The warmest of welcomes included fresh flowers, homemade biscuits, tea, coffee etc. and a wonderful cosy log burner. Lesley and Mark were such kind and genuine hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. We shall definitely be returning.

TadleyThe Corn Mill is wonderful and exceeded our expectations
Left on 10/29/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Four of us had a wonderful week in this superbly converted former granary which is on a working hop and apple farm. Lesley and family gave us the warmest of welcomes with the log stove burning, a basket of lovely local produce to enjoy and fresh flowers awaiting our arrival. A plentiful supply of logs is stacked outside for your stay.
We loved the up-side-down living with views across the fields from the warm inviting living area. The kitchen and dining area are really well equipped. The 2 good-sized bedrooms are extremely comfortable with both a shower room and a bathroom and an ample supply of hot water.
The Corn Mill is well placed for country walks - around the farm (with Cindy, their friendly black labrador) or further afield. Everything about the Corn Mill exceeded our expectations. The place was spotlessly clean and we just loved Lesley's beautiful decor and her attention to detail. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Corn Mill and look forward to returning. -

My Wife and I found the cottage an excellent, quiet and peaceful place to while away a few hours, in between going Shopping and visiting the excellent nearby Inns, eating and drinking while meeting the very friendly locals.
The welcome when we arrived at the cottage was unexpected, thanks to Lesley for making us both welcome, we felt really at home.
We will undoubtedly revisit this warm, spotless and welcoming cottage, very soon ! -

Was lovely to see the whole family joining in with the work.. Our first holiday in England for years and found it totally relaxing..Didnt want to leave .
Great work by lesley and Mark the hosts. hope to return soon -

Left on 06/16/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We loved the Corn Mill for its imaginative, stylish and luxurious accommodation set in gloriously peaceful and beautiful countryside, but it was the warm, genuine welcome from Lesley and her family that really made us feel at home on this working hop and cider farm. There were delightful little touches, like the fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and roaring fire that greeted us on our arrival and the willingness of the family to spend time with us answering our questions and explaining how the hops were cultivated.
We thoroughly appreciated the quality of the spotlessly clean house and surroundings –the wood burning stove, the excellent kitchen equipment, the outdoor seating area, the luxurious bathrooms and the comfy beds. Having the living room upstairs meant we had marvellous views of the countryside, including watching Lesley’s son caring for the sheep in the nearby field. Cindy, the friendly black Labrador, accompanied us on walks around the farm and the chickens clucked cheerily around the outdoor seating area.
There are lots of lovely walks in the lanes around the farm, and many places of interest to visit in the surrounding area. We recommend the Oak at Staplow for evening meals, Blue Ginger in Cradley for coffee and cake, Moors Meadow Gardens at Bromyard for plant lovers and the Mappa Mondi at Hereford cathedral for culture. -

Left on 01/09/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This cottage is wonderful. It is absoloutly perfect! Beautifully decorated. Very very Clean. Plenty of Space. The decoration is lovely - the rooms are beautiful, it is very cosy. It has a wonderful fire place - which was already on for us ready for our arrival - Lesley had left us fresh home made shortbread, fresh milk and fresh apple juice - all very delicious! The farm is also very nice, and Cindy the dog took us on a lovely walk around the area. We were in the UK for 10 and spent 2 of those days at the corn mill - this was definetly the highlight of our whole trip - wish we had planned to stay longer!! Would recommend this place to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at The Corn mill. A lovely warm welcome with lights on, woodburner a blaze and homemade shotbread on the welcome tray along with tea, coffee etc and a bottle of delicious apple juice produced from apples grown on the farm. The decor and detail from top to bottom was amazing, we didn't use the garden room on this visit but hope to on our next stay. Lesley and Mark were wonderful hosts, happy to have a chat and answer any questions.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, feels very luxurious and cosy. The wood burning stove is great in the winter. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed. Cindy the owners dog took us for a walk round the scenic orchards and there was plenty of wildlife on and off the owners farm to see. Great cottage and very friendly owners, highly recommended!

187050A peaceful relaxing location in the Herefordshire countryside
Left on 11/18/2011 for a stay in November 2011
It was lovely to walk into the cottage - lights had been left on for us and the wood burning stove was roaring away - a tea tray was left out with beautiful homemade shortbread. What a lovely welcome.
The furnishings and decor blended very well together and were of a very high quality - very comfy beds.
Good location - even though it was rural, access was easy to main towns and cities - had a good walk around the farm with Cindy( the dog) and also it was interesting to see the cider orchards being harvested and seeing the hop fields.
Nothing was too much trouble, you could just knock on the door at any time.
Only negative for us was the poor flow of water from the shower which was due to the farm having its own water supply.Response from The Corn Mill - 11/23/2011

Thank you for the lovely comments, I would say that the shower pressure is normal , but if you are used to a power shower it would perhaps seem low.

186233The Perfect Holiday Cottage
Left on 11/11/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and while many of them have been excellent, this one is by far the best. It has everything that one could wish for, it is warm, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and is fully equipped. The hosts are warm and welcoming and the only drawback was that we had to leave at the end of the week. I would recommend the Corn Mill to anyone.

Left on 10/24/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This beautifully appointed cottage in a quiet and lovely setting is exactly what we were looking for. No detail is overlooked by the owner, who was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The location is quiet and beautiful and the cottage had all that we needed (and lots more) for a comfortable stay. We cannot recommend this cottage more highly.

Left on 09/03/2011 for a stay in August 2011
It's perhaps enough to say that having enjoyed our second fortnight at the Corn Mill, we've already booked up for next year! At a different time of year this time, to see a different part of the farming calendar. We're veterans of cottage holidays, but the Corn Mill is the best we've enjoyed by a distance, and you won't find a warmer welcome or a more comfortable bed anywhere. On top of that, you will find that the walk tour guide (Cindy, the labrador) and the young shepherd (Johnathan) provide all the help you will need. Try it! (But not when we want to go!)

Kingston-upon-Hull, United KingdomA genuine farm cottage of exceptional comfort and design
Left on 07/25/2011 for a stay in July 2011
The only problem with this holiday cottage is that you will probably find it fully booked up for months in advance by by peole who have already been fortunate to stay there already. The fact that the owner is a trained Interior Designer, and a good one at that, is more than evident
You will certainly need a car(or use your Bus Pass) to get about but Malvern and the Hills are within 15 minutes drive and delightful Ledbury is even closer. Also many interesting places to visit eg. Hereford Cathedral, Hampton Court Castle, the Wye Valley and the Brockhampton Estate.
We have been renting holiday cottages for many years. This is certainly one of the best that we have stayed in for a party of four. -

Arrived at the Corn Mill and first impressions were of peace and tranquillity, inside greeted with fresh flowers and home made apple juice, a must try .
Comfortable rooms, idillic to watch the sheep in the field close by. Lesley and Mark made us feel very welcome indeed, and the guided tour of the farm gave us a good insight into hop farming.Nearby towns offered plenty to do and some well recommended eating places in Ledbury, the Olive Tree in Ledbury being one of our particular favourites. All in all a very enjoyable week and hope to stay again in the future. -

Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Arrived at the Cornmill to be met by fresh flowers, homemade shortbread and apple juice. Greeted the next morning by the owner with freshly laid eggs and an invite to wander at leisure, visit the animals and info regarding local area (also files with lots of info in house as well). the owners and their children were very friendly and included our teenage girls in various apects of the farm ie. feeding the pet lamb. It is the most luxurious accommodation and extremely comfortable, log burning stove provided exceptional heat, nothing that ypou required was overlooked. In fact we cannot wait to return to experience a relaxing and friendly break . Many thanks to lesley and her family for our best British holiday yet.

Left on 03/17/2011 for a stay in March 2011
The Corn Mill is a beautifully decorated barn conversion in a lovely peaceful and private location. The owners live in the farm behind the cottage and are very helpful and friendly though never intrusive. A separate driveway ensures privacy but the farms orchards and hopfields are at the guests disposal for walks.
Although it seems in the middle of nowhere the cottage is a short drive away from Malvern and the major Herefordshire market towns. Also plenty of villages to explore and we found some excellent places to eat.
We had a wonderfully restorative week with the added bonus of lambs being born whilst we were there. -

Left on 01/06/2011 for a stay in December 2010
It is difficult to express just how lovely our stay at the Corn Mill was, From the first day we arrived we felt very welcome and were extremley impressed with the standard of the property. If you like walking, waking each morning to glorious country views and settling at night to a cosy log fire this is the place for you. The owners made our stay very special and provided us with local information which was very useful. (Even the Farm dog welcomed us each morning). There are many places to eat and visit and we only wished we could stay longer. We will be returning in the summer to enjoy some of the attractions that were closed. This is a property we would highly recommend.
