This converted end-terrace barn is located in the grounds of the owners' horse racing stables on the outskirts of Ledsham, 6 miles from Chester, and sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms. View Cottage is a converted end-terrace barn, located in the grounds of the owners' horse racing stables on the outskirts of Ledsham, six miles from Chester. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms - one ground floor double, one single, one twin with adjustable electric beds and one family room with double bed and single bed. Guests have a shower room with double shower, basin and WC and a ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. The living acco...mmodation comprises a fitted kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room. Outside is off road parking for two cars, a private decked area with furniture and use of a communal BBQ area. With the delights of Chester close by and the whole of North Wales to discover within easy reach, View Cottage makes a great base for a year-round break in this part of the country.

Fishing available by arrangement with owner. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Horses welcome by arrangement. Note: Farm backs on to the Parkgate Road, some road noise will be heard during peak times.

Town: Ledsham is a rural village spread over a wide area, just 6 miles from Chester. The city has much to offer the tourist, including excellent shopping in the famous 'Rows', and lovely walks within the city boundaries - around the old Roman Walls, along The Groves beside the River Dee or through the picturesque Grosvenor Park. Further afield lie the stunning Welsh mountains and coastline, and the market towns and villages of Cheshire are all within easy touring distance, whilst the nearby Wirral Peninsula has many splendid courses to tempt the golfing enthusiast.Read more

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  very pretty and comfortable cottage well equipped and the service was second to none location ideal for wales and england combined i was with family and my husband and i celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there so it will remain very special.weather wasn't over grand but no fault of owner or cottage we all had a lovely time.if i had to nit pick it would be location of rather large unsightly bins would be nice hidden in some way that why i have given 4 stars thank you to the owners for an enjoyable holiday.y.m.davies.
