This cosy cottage was ideal for our needs, being centrally located in Leek on the edge of the Peak District. It was central yet quiet with a bijou garden ideal for a glass of wine in the late afternoon/early evening sun. It was very well centrally heated and with good all round facilities.
Mind your head if you are over 5'6" though as the door heights are quite low!
The only thing that we would have liked is a proper shower rather than the hand held one in the bathroom.
Overall, it was excellent value for the price and we will definitely consider returning, despite generally usually choosing to stay in different places.

Beautiful, quaint cottage in the heart of Leek. Lovely holiday, fabulous scenery and lots to do in the area, only quibble cottage is very small.
Beautiful, quaint conversion

We had an excellent stay. There were shortbread biscuits, assorted teas, coffee, a pint of fresh milk...every comfort arranged for our arrival.
It's a very quaint, fairly comfortable conversion - a tiny house but converted with taste and had everything we required for a comfortable week's stay. Access through the car park was really convenient, located extremely conveniently in beautiful Leek.
Could do with more comfortable seats for family of four (with teens) and a frying pan, otherwise no complaints, it was a lovely base and we'd definitely consider staying there again if visiting. Not too far from alton Towers - beautiful drives both directions, perfect proximity for The Roaches...wonderful holiday, with property high on the list for it's success.
