What a pleasure it was to stay in this comfortable, clean and perfectly located cottage. Gilles and Genevieve are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the fabulous beach just up the block(best we found on the island)and we like to seek out the hidden beaches. The fresh seafood from the local market was fantastic. Riding the bikes daily for sight seeing and a little workout made for one of our most memorable vacations. We look forward to our return visit. Peace

My husband and I were very happy of our stay at Villa del Sol for our honeymoon. The owners are on site and extremely helpful with everything, including tips for attraction/restaurants, pick up and drop of from the airport, assistance with booking activities and much more. The place is very clean and absolutely fresh and new... you can see that the house has been recently built, and very nicely too. The beach is only 5 minutes away and it is right at the beginning of Grace bay. While we were there, we have visited the various resorts on Grace Bay out of curiosity and we were very pleased with our choice to stay in this private villa, which has really nothing to envy to super expensive places such as Grace Bay Club or The Sand, unless you are the type of person that wants to watch Espn while on vacation in a paradise island ;) .
We are considering going back for a future anniversary and staying again in the same place, so yes we strongly advice anyone to chose this accommodation. -

Great stay in a lovely house! Genevieve and Gilles are perfect hosts.
Location: Appartement is few minutes walk away from a really beautiful and quiet beach in a quiet neighborhood. Bicycles are provided. Only food and shops are mostly too far to walk but using the bikes you can reach everything you need.
Villa: House, bathroom, kitchen were clean and nice. The kitchen contained all basic things you need like cups, plates, cutlery, pots, even spices and oil if you want to prepare your own food. In addition the rooms were cleaned and sheets and towels were changed every two or three days. We got towels for the bathroom and in addition towels for the beach. Chairs for the beach, snorkeling glasses and a BBQ were provided. In the bathroom you could also find something for insect bites, everything is really well organized and you can feel that Genevieve and Gilles care for you to have a nice stay.
Pool: Clean, lovely.
Beach: Unbelievably beautiful!
Activities: If you want to go for activities Genevieve and Gilles are really helpful to organize trips and help with everything. We went on a sailing trip, kayaking and snorkeling, everything was very nice. You can also find a map and literature about interesting activities and restaurants in the living room.

i can't say enough amazing things about G & G!! They are the most caring & considerate hosts anyone can hope for. This was my 2nd trip to Provo,I Loved the guest house & the privacy it allows you. For any couples or just single people eho want to get away & relax...this is the only place to stay!!!

Genevieve and Gilles were warm and welcoming, we felt at home right away! The accommodations were beautiful and relaxing, it was our little home away from home. We already have plans to return to Villa del sol. If you're looking for a relaxing get away, close to a beautiful secluded beach, no need to look any further. You have found the spot! See you in March G&G;!

Honestly, the best place for couples who are looking for quiet, romantic escape in Caribbean! From the first moment, when waiting for us at the airport with refreshment till the last goodbye, our renters Geneviève and Gilles were perfect. They helped us to managed our trips and told us important and interesting info about life in Provo... we`ve appreciated this a lot. Every second day, we had new towels and Geneviève even made a small cleaning for us! The villa is so cute:) brand new, stylish, ideal escape for a couple, situated in a very quiet part of island, but very close to beach... it took only 3 minutes by bike or 7 minutes walking... btw. cool old-school bikes were provided with the villa rental, so as small cooler & beach chairs with umbrella... and the beach itself - superb! we have been in TCI in July (supposed to be a low season) and with 2 other families were only people on the beach! water is turquoise as on the pictures, even small reef with corals right on the beach. We have rented a car with avis as wanted to see also beaches in other parts of the island ... and to be honest, our beach in Leeward was the most beautiful one. There is a lot of things to do in Turks & Caicos... we went snorkeling to West Caicos island (underwater zoo) and Turtle cove (Smith's Reef), rented kayak in Leeward Marina and went to Little Water Cay to see some iguanas and also took ferry to North Caicos & Middle Caicos (superb whole day trip, a lot of things to see, so different than Provo)... Turks & Caicos are the best choice for those who want to both explore deserted islands, and also spend some time of relaxing on the beach with a glass of vine or beer:)

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Del Sol for our honeymoon! We were able to stay for two weeks, and felt so much at home we didn't want to leave!!! Geneveive and Gilles have clearly put a lot of care and thought into their home, and their hospitality definitely deserves five stars! :-) We loved our stay in Turks and Caicos, and would definitely recommend Villa Del Sol to anyone looking to have a private and relaxing vacation in sunny Providenciales!

3 of us stayed here for a week in apr/May. Genevieve and Gilles provide a very clean and very private pool house. They were very unobtrusive, you felt as if there was no one around but you. Very quiet location. It is about an 8 minute walk to the most beautiful beach you can imagine. From there you are walking distance to the resorts down the beach(15 mins) but far enough away that you feel as if it is your own private enclave.
They offer a car for hire service that we availed ourselves of, at very reasonable rates. As well, the bikes provided were perfect for running to the grocery store (10 min ride or so).
Overall a great vacation rental at a really affordable price for this area. -

Nous avons séjourné à la Villa del Sol du 4 au 12 mars dernier. Le Guest House ainsi que la chambre sont d'une propreté exemplaire et contiennent tout le nécessaire pour rendre un séjour confortable. Geneviève et Gilles sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux dès notre arrivée à l'aéroport et avons pu bénéficier de leurs connaissances de la région tout au long de notre séjour. Geneviève et Gilles sont présents tout en sachant faire preuve d'une discrétion exemplaire. Nous avons loué une voiture et avons visité quelques plages de Providenciales pour en arriver à la conclusion que la Villa del sol est située à quelques pas de la plus belle plage de l'île. Une plage plus sauvage vers la droite ou l'on peut ramasser d'impressionnants coquillages et une plage un peu plus fréquentée vers la gauche ou l'on peut trouver quelques restaurants. Les plages de sable blanc ainsi que les tons multiples de cette mer turquoise nous ont totalement éblouis. Bref, nous nous sommes reposés, avons ri à gorge déployée; avons dégusté de la langouste; découvert l'excellente bière des Iles Turquoises; et assisté à de splendides couchers de soleil et ce, tout en découvrant une île magnifique. Notre voyage nous fera rêver encore longtemps... Merci encore!

Our stay at Villa Del Sol was the most memorable and the most pleasant compare to other places that we vacationed at. We always rent a house when we go to Caribbean islands but we have never experience the same, starting from the guest house and finishing with Genevieve and Gill's hospitality. I always concerned about the cleanliness of a place that we rent and always bring own sheets and towels but this house is so different from our other places. Genevieve and Gill keep it very clean and beautiful. The guest house is so nicely furnished and has everything one would need to feel at home starting with bedding and finishing bathroom accessories, towels, kitchen, BBQ, pool; breeze room where we had our breakfast every morning and bikes. We had such a great time biking around the island. The beach is only a short walk away and when you get there first time you do not expect to see such a picture perfect place practically private with the whitest and cleanest sand but also if you would like to have lunch on a beach it is only 10 minute walk.
And now I would like to tell about Genevieve and Gill hospitality: even though they saw us the first time they treated us as dearest friends and at the same time they gave privacy but they are just such great people (now days one does not meet people like that often) we wish we spend more time with them. They provided all needed information to make our stay very easy and happy! We are planning to go back in the nearest future.
One more thing I would like to mention: if you decided to stay in their guest house please treat it even better than your own place. Genevieve and Gill put into that house so much energy to make it nice and we hope that you will respect their hard work.

My husband and I stayed with Genevieve and Gilles in January 2012. The guesthouse has everything you need and Genevieve and Gilles are wonderfully accomodating hosts. They picked us up and took us back to the airport and helped us plan many other activities and make reservations. They are warm and friendly and so accomadating and helpful The beach is only minutes away and is breathtaking. Spend a few minutes looking at a map and take the bikes to other nearby beaches for almost total privacy. We can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Villa Del Sol was the best vacation we ever had. Leeward beach was the best one on the island. It had so little people, it felt like your private beach. Our hosts were very accommodating and we are so grateful for that.
Genevieve and Gill recommended a lot of great restaurants and excursions. They are such great people and we already miss them a whole bunch. The quest house was excellent and had everything you need for a beach vacation, including snorkeling gear, beach chairs, bikes etc. We loved biking throughout the island. It was an excellent way of being outside and enjoying the gorgeous weather at the same time. It is hard to describe how great the island is until you experience it yourself and that's why we are contemplating on moving to Providenciales. It's been only 2 months since our stay and we can't wait to go back.

We stayed at Villa Del Sol in November 2011. It was absolutely perfect for us. Starting with their kind welcome at the airport until they dropped as off at the end of our stay, Genevieve and Gilles were fantastic hosts - available when needed, helpful and very friendly, but we still felt like we had our own space and privacy. The guest cottage is spacious and modern, in great/clean shape, and Genevieve tidied up for us each day. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals (in fact we packed a bunch of Trader Joe's freezer meals and a few bottles of wine to keep costs down), grilled on the deck, and enjoyed eating in a private screened-in porch. The pool is also lovely. The location is great if you are looking for something quiet -- It's just a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach, which has no resorts and was often empty. With the two good bikes provided by your hosts, it's a short ride to the resorts, bars and restaurants (5-20 minutes depending where you want to go). G&G; will also give you a ride for a small fee. We found that we are able to use resort pools and tennis courts and beach chairs for free, though can't guarantee it. We enjoyed a very nice sunset sail recommended by the hosts for just $25 each, as well as a kayaking trip out to Iguana Island. Our only disappointment was that we weren't able to snorkel because the water was too choppy while we were there. I hope we will have the opportunity to stay at Villa del Sol again!

We stayed at Villa Del Sol in September 2011, and it was our best vacation ever!! Having been to many islands in the Caribbean, and having stayed at many different resorts, hotels, and vacation rentals, we fell head over heels in love with this particular accommodation and this island. Our hosts Gil & Gen are amazing people with the best hearts, our vacation would not have been what it was without them. Their guesthouse is right on the pool deck, walking distance to the beach (the best one - in our opinion!)and a bike ride away from the grocery store. We took the one day car rental to tour the island, but we found we had everything we needed close by. The guesthouse interior is very clean, modern, spacious and beautifully decorated - way better than any hotel, and we had our own private enclosed terrasse and access to the bbq for cooking.. My favorite part by far were the long walks on the secluded beaches filling my arms for those famous conch shells.. we even saw many starfish, and pelicans. We would recommend this rental to everyone - as the value you get for your money is unsurpassed, and the I would not trade staying at Gen & Gils Villa Del Sol for any 5 star resort, and we cannot wait to go visit again...You will see!

Completely agree with all the 5 star ratings so far. I can't praise Genevieve and Giles enough. They collected us from the airport, brought us to the supermarket and as they new we were on our honeymoon they had a bottle of Champagne chilling in the fridge upon our arrival. They were always there to help us. They called to book restaurants, snorkelling trips, fishing trips, etc as well as give lifts around the island or helping with anything else we asked. The guest house was perfect. Clean and spacious with everything we needed. The location is also great. It is located in the quite area of Leeward with a fantastic beach just a 5 minute walk away. The beach was beautiful. It was excellent for snorkelling with really clean turquoise water and soft white sand. We had the best of both worlds with the peace and quiet of the Leeward community but also resorts, bars and restaurants an easy 10 minute bike ride away. We rented a car one day and after touring most of the island we were happy to realise we had the best place on the island.
I would highly recommend the guest house for a relaxing stay in paradise.

My husband and I spent a week in the Turks and Caicos and it was a wonderful vacation. The Leeward part of the island is very quiet and away from the large resorts, which is why we chose this vacation rental. It is everything we needed and within a short 5 min walk or 2 min drive to the beach. The beach was gorgeous and had almost nobody on it most days. I would highly recommend a car if you stay here because it is about a 5-7 minute drive into town and would be a little far to walk. This vacation rental is brand new and has everything for the budget conscious traveler.

If you want to go at Turks and Caicos, get your own beach and your own pool for cheaper than a resort in Cuba... that's the place. We were there from July 4th to July 12th. Gen and Gilles (the hosts) picked us up at the airport. The guest house where we stayed is at approximately 10 minutes from the airport. The room was spatious and clean. The pool, the deck and everything around was clean and new. The hosts are always there for all our needs. They bring you around whenever you need it. The beach is just amazing! Nobody's there (seriously! - no one on the beach). The hosts bring the chairs and umbrella on the beach each day. The beach is at 7 min walk from the guest house.
We also did a trip on a sail boat (25$ each - with rum punch included). It was very pleasant. It's the place to relax and enjoy the sun. Only thing to mention about the Turk and Caicos - there's not much of a nightlife. But appart from that, what a nice an pleasant vacation. Thank you Gen and Gilles. -
