Lefkada is the only island accessible by car, without the cost of a ferry. It is connected to the Akarnanian mainland by a floating pontoon for a constant flow of vehiccle traffic and is also a swinging bridge which allows motor yachts to pass from the main sea channel. The Rion-Antirion suspencion bridge , as well as the Aktion tunnel under the sea make access to the island much easier than ever before. There are five departures daily from Athens (378 km) by coach (KTEL) and twice from/to Thessaloniki(420 km).

Connection of Lefkada’s with the surrounding islands
From the city of Nydri & Vassiliki you can find daily ferry boats services with destination to Meganissi, Kefalonia (Fiskardo), Ithaka (Frikes). Daily cruises offered by local boats to the most popular beaches and surroundings of the island including Scorpios Island of the Onassis Family.
"Sea routes linking the island of Lefkada with the rest of Western Europe are the port of Igoumenitsa (100 km) and the port of Patras (170 km). With the help of underwater tunnel of Preveza-Aktion access to the island from the north-west Greece and Igoumenitsa in the first case is very easy. The port is a major gateway to Western and Central Europe. The bridge of Rio-Antirio greatly facilitates connecting the island with southern Greece, and gives the port of Patras, in turn, the second major portal in Europe. "

Vasiliki-Ponti
It is one of the most popular, touristic destinations in the island and is 40 km S from the town of Lefkada.
Its bay is ideal for surfing and its island atmosphere is quite charming. From here you can visit the villages of Agios Petros and Sivros so you can taste the traditional plates with lamp, you can go swimming to the beach of Vasiliki or you can take the small boats for the beaches of Porto-Katsiki, Alektori and Agiofili.

WATER SPORTS
Apart from a surfers’ Mecca the bay of Vassiliki, offers on its West leeward side “lake like conditions” during the whole day. These conditions are ideal for water skiing and wake board. On this side of the bay, in an environment where all safety rules are kept, there is a water sports centre that initiates the visitors to the secrets of waterskiing and those of the wake board. Even those that are not sports fans can have fun with the tubes, the banana and the fly-fish or can see the bay from above and enjoy a unique experience with parasailing.
KITE SURF
If you combine windsurfing, waterski, wakeboard and paragliding the result will be Kite surf. It could, in a way, be the evolution after the windsurfing. The rider uses a small board, driving while holding the boom, connected with long ropes to the kite. The basic characteristic of kitesurf is the 3rd power which has been added, and the rider can use with the gravity of the kite to the top in order to perform high jumps and impressive manoeuvres.
DIVING
For those who wish to have more adventure vacations there are always unexplored fields and in this case is the underwater world of Lefkada. The experience of diving offers unforgettable moments to the lovers of scuba. With Base in Nikiana , Nydri and Vassiliki there are licensed Diving centres which are operating in Lefkada, are organizing diving excursions. The diving centres offer all the diving opportunities with an escort of qualified diver.
Specialities offered by the diving centers: First dive, discover scuba, diving of any kind, first aid lessons. Along with these excursions, they are organising and perform activities such: coastal cleaning activities, underwater cleaning, exploration of flora and fauna etc.
WIND SURF
Lefkada is the paradise of windsurfing. The beach of Vassiliki is one of the 10 best beaches worldwide and the 3rd best in Europe together with the beach of Aghios Ioannis, covering almost all needs of windsurfing funs and lovers. In Vasiliki there are many wind surf clubs which are offering lessons from beginners’ level up to instructors.
Even if you do not have your own surf equipment you can hire from the clubs. The thermal winds (mistral) are a god's gift for the island.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
An other sport which combines adventure with athletic is the mountain bike experience. The inland of Lefkada is full of green colours with high mountains and scenic villages, magical pathways… You could find many organised clubs all over the island, offering mountain bike experience. In the town of Lefkada, Nydri and Vassiliki, there are many bike rentals where you could find the necessary equipment for riding around the island.
With a simple bike or a mountain bike you could follow the path from the field of Vassiliki and Aghios Petros to Sivros, Kontarena, Lake of Marantochori and the mountainous ride of Athani, Chortata and Nikoli.
You could also follow the path to the Melissa Gorge in Sfakiotes, in the village of Charadiatika with its springs and its canyons, the canyon of Dimosari with its divine waterfalls, the forest of Dafnis and the springs of Kerasias in Sivros, ideal places for mountain bike.
PARAPENTE
From the French word parachute and pent came as a result the name Parapente. It is the simplest way of flight and most exciting at the same time. The pilot takes off from a hill and uses the wind draughts in order to extend his flight by gliding before landing.
In Lefkada, parapente is performed with a double parachute and an experienced pilot.

Booking policy:
For the high season period (July until August) minimum Rental period for the houses is a week (7 consecutive days). It is preferred if possible to start commencement of hire on each Saturday, Sunday or Monday of a week. For low season period (June-September) minimum rental period of houses is five consecutive days anytime within period.
All booking transactions must be in written to protect both parties (client and hotelier). Upon deposit of your advances you are kindly requested to send by e-mail, fax or any convenient means the relevant deposit receipt to confirm your payment. You will receive a written reply from our side confirming the booking period agreed between both parties. To confirm your booking a 25% payment of your total stay must be paid in advance.The payment for the balance amount will be carried out upon your arrival.
Discount policy:
For early bookings until 30th April 2012 a (10%) discount applies on above prices. The disount is applicable on a weekly based booking and if persons are not exceed the maximum capacity of the villa.
Cancellation policy:
• In the event that the customer wishes to cancel a booking, and the cancellation is made 21 days prior to the agreed arrival date, the hotelier (owner) is obliged to refund the deposit in full, while for cancellations made within 21 days, the customer must pay the hotelier the 50% of the total cost of the cancelled booking. All cancellation transactions must be in written so both parties (client and hotelier) to be protected accordingly.

hi to all.
i made the decision to express my opinion for this area and specific this accommodation due to unforgettable week that i spent there the summer of 2008.
the villa can offer you relax times, amazing view, very big hospitality from the owners (you would understand it only if you will visit it) and the most important thing for me...(what is this?...there is in the center of the 3 best beaches of island. porto katsiki, egkremnoi & kathisma. there is nothing better by to swim to the pool and you will get your mind to trip by drinking special local wine almost at the peak of the hills. combined with traditioan food your holidays will be one of perfects places that you will be ever visited. -

The Villas and grounds were in fantastic condition and Eirini who was there upon our arrival and most days, was a gracious host showing us around the local area, best tavernas and nearby shops. This part of the island is glorious, quiet, unspoilt and above all the local people were incredibly kind. All sixt of us had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to come back to Lefkada. The two villas are very well designed and executed, perfect for several families who want to holiday together. The houses are extremely well furnished and equipped, and the pool is great

We have been to this property twice and are looking forward to a third. The property is pristine, modern and easily accomodates 6 people. The layout on several levels give privacy to everyone. The private pools make it a true resort, without the throngs of people. The views could not be better and it is a good walk to get to town - approx 20 mins. There are markets and restaurants close by on your way to the village, and if you like sailing this is the place!
We barbequed every night on the outdoor charcoal fireplace. The food could not be better. The landlords are fantastic and attend to everything - even things you do not think of or anticipate. There is nothing we did not like about this property. -
