Villa Mimpi is next door to Su's Cottages and opposite the Kumala Pantai Hotel and is just 100 metres from the beach. Just spent the last 5 nights at Villa Mimpi
The location is excellent , the villa is fantastic only four of us so we had so much room to ourselves , loved all the living spaces and the ensuite in each large bedroom great , spent most of time in pool and ordered food from Su cottage next door and was great they delivered and came later to collect plates ;) Gede was a great help didn't want to leave loved every minute of my stay!!!will be back for sure with friends and family

We absolutely loved Villa Mimpi, the Villa is clean and well set out with great sized Rooms. Gede and Made were wonderful and helped to make our holiday realxing. My son loved to help Gede feed the fish at the entrance of the Villa, which was a highlight for him :)

Having travelled to Bali many times and stayed in a range of hotels and resorts, a holiday this March saw myself and 5 other family members take up accommodation in Villa Mimpi.
Villa Mimpi had been recommendd by a friend so we put all our concerns (not having people around us, it being tooo quiet or would we have enough space) behind us.
The Villa was fantastic, four great sized bedrooms with bathrooms in each, great open lounge/kitchen area and a fab little pool. The staff who looked after us were also terrific.
The location was another bonus, could not have ask for a better holiday this time around. We are now all hooked on Villa accommodation for the future trips.

We stayed at villa mimpi in January 2013 as a family group of 9, three generations. There was so much space that we didnt feel like we were on top of each other. The decor was very tasteful and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen and dining table didn't get much use as we ate out a lot, but the hotel next door was happy to deliver meals when we went next door and ordered them, if we wanted a night in. I'd happily stay there again.

We stayed at Villa Mimpi from 16th to 26th Dec & what an amazing first time experience staying at a villa. We were 2 families in a group of 8 & the villa was large & spacious to accommodate us all comfortably. The villa is very tastefully decorated with a very useful TV area upstairs which was great for the kids to hang out while the adults chilled in the downstairs lounge area. The location was fantastic with shops just outside the villa & pathway down to the beach which only took 5 mins. It was great having Mede to do general tidying everyday so it really was no work at all. Gede was great at taking care of general things. Overall we all had a fantastic stay at Villa Mimpi & would recommend it to anyone wanting to come to Bali in a group as it was real value for the money. Thanks to Mal for making the booking process so easy & the great communication before we came.

The Villa is out of the way, and not on a busy street - very nice. With the provided transport from and to the airport that was not an issue, although some fo the food delivery places had trouble witht he location. Once we mentioned the hotel that is across the road from us, that cleared it up.
The rooms were spacious, well setup and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect for cooling off. The a/C are in the bedrooms, so the main rooms can get warm. However, we opened the doors to the bedrooms, and it did cool the house down. We did visit during the peak of summer in Bali, so the heat was expected.
The beach was a 5-10 minute walk away, and was good. Lots of surfers on the beach there, and plenty of areas to swim that were patrolled by life guards. There are a lot of places to eat nearby, within easy walking distance.
The staff - Gede and Made - were excellent and kept the place neat and tidy. Very friendly. There was also a travel guy - Wayan Steve (?) who provided us with great deals on our tourist stops.
On the downside, the kitchen could use a microwave, and the doors to the patio could use screens to keep out the mosquitos at night. However, we lit incense, and that mostly took care of the problem. Overall, I'd stay there again, and would recommend it to my friends.Response from Villa Mimpi - 01/25/2013

We are a family of 7 and stayed 9 nights one might cut off by Jetstar, what an excellent location and an absolute fantastic villa always clean and everything tidy. Complements to both Made and Gede who were both helpful and very accomadationg. We had a hiccup with the hot water but all parties worked and dispite some minor complications it was done. I would recommend this Villa to anyone of any age and we definitely will be back. Thanks again Mal, Gede, Made and co. Merry Xmas. The Jones Family

Thankyou so much for your wonderful villa. I stayed here with my friends for my schoolies (November-December) My friend organised it, and it was the best idea to get a villa, little did we know how amazing it would be. The photos dont do it justice. Both the Maid and the Butler were fantastic, and helped out with everything no matter what. Its so close to all the other hotels, and you can get transport right outside the door. The shopping is so close, and the beach is in walking distance as well as the lovely surrounding restaurants. I recommend this 100% and hope i can stay here again one day. Thankyou very much. Bec

This villa is beautiful! Everything you need is there - couldn't ask for more. The beds are comfy, the pillows good :-), the bathrooms and bedrooms huge. The pool and outdoor area is really pretty. The service by the staff is excellent and they are willing to help with anything you need. It is close to everything - shops, restaurant and just a short stroll to the beach.
Booking was a breeze as well and the communciation by the owner was excellent!

I,Yunus, from Singapore stay there from 8 oct 2012 to 11 oct 2012 with friends total 10 persons.the place is ideal for large groups in fact i believe it will be no problem if we add more people...It was peaceful and the atmosphere was so relaxed.i can say that the place looks better in real life than in the pictures.The gede was absolutely friendly and help us in many ways such as car rental,motorbikes rental and recommend places to go.The places is also very convenient to access to the beach nearby, shops and entertainment places.Villa Mimpi give me a good lasting impression and I'm sure will stay over there if i'm going to Bali again.I could say that this is my best ever holiday..

As usual, Gede and Made provided excellent service with such a friendly attitude. New owners since we last stayed - meant some new furnishings, extra services ie, laundry and thoughtful add on's like milk and juice. There were 4 couples in our group and everyone loved the Villa (I had no doubts)! We love walking out the gate into the vibe of Legian and then retreating back into the serenity of the Villa. Excellent location but with Gede's scooters, we could access anywhere we wanted. The girls on the corner provide fantastic massages. My advice is to keep the front gate closed as people kept coming in to "check it out" even when we were home. Wish we could stay here all the time - even when there's only 2. Thanks Mal

This was our 2nd trip to Bali, staying at Villa Mimpi on both occasions.
The Villa is gorgeous, heaps of space and has everything you need at your finger tips, with lovely staff also looking after you! It is in an ideal position with easy access to the beach, shopping and some of the best restaurants in Bali!

Great villa, great location, Made is helpful and eager to please while Gede doesn't do much at all... if he is there I spent 2 weeks there Gede might have been there 6 days pool unswimable went green then over chlorinated to fix it up??? I am booked in for next May hopefully the pool will be crystal!!!

Our stay at Villa Mimpi was perfect...the villa is gorgeous...the staff so helpful and lovely, the owners were wonderful...We had 4 nites in the villa and I wish it had of been 4 weeks. We had friends from Singapore come over and stay with us and they were as impressed as we were. I would highly reccommend the villa to anyone and actually have already given details to friends who are looking to stay in Legian. The location is ideal. we had a very enjoyable stay in the villa of dreams. the staff are very helpful, it is located in a quiet, tucked away place, but still very close to the beach and the numerous restuarants found in the area.there is also an excellent day spa located about 50 metres away from the villa.our friends that joined us at the villa for birthday celebrations were all very impressed with the villa and can now see why we do not stay in hotels anymore. the villa is spotless and beautifully maintained.we had our family there for a special occassion and i am so glad that this accomodation was recommended to us. i will most certainly stay here again.

I could not believe how big and spacious the Villa was when I walked in, 4 big bedrooms, clean en-suites and heaps of living space. Did I not mention the outdoor area and sparkling pool which is where our group spent a lot of time downing a few cold Bintangs. The Villa was tucked away from the hustle and bustle but everything was at your fingertips. Gede and Made helped make our stay so easy and were helpful in organising of things to do and keeping the Villa so tidy and clean. A special thanks to Vanessa for dropping in and saying hello and sending the special Birthday Cake for my 50th.Thank You so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Mimpi - in fact, it was the highlight of our stay in Bali. Gede and Made, you helped make our stay so pleasant with a cool drink on arrival, regular fresh linen and a sparkling pool and clean home to relax in.
The villa was so spacious. We had 8 people spanning 3 generations and never once felt on top of each other. We liked the fact that Villa Mimpi was tucked away and quiet and yet close to the hustle and bustle of Legian's busy sreets, shopping, cafes and day spas.

Well you couldnt get a better and more relaxed place in Bali if you tried. So convenient and close to everything. We had been forewarned that Villa Mimpi was a little paradise set amongst the chaos but nothing could have prepared us for the absolute ecstatic feeling of walking through the front doors into our tropical haven that we would enjoy for 9 days
from the airport pickup to the welcoming smile from Gede upon our arrival then a ice cold drink to welcome us we could not fault the seamless welcoming.
The property provides a perfect place to relax whether by the pool ,in one of the 2 living areas or in one of the 4 air-conditioned bedrooms for the afternoon siesta it's pure bliss!
The location is perfect ...fab shopping ...the best bag shop just around the corner and fab spa treatments less than 50 meters down road.a

Arriving late from the midnight flight we were pleasantly greeted by Gede who's welcoming smile showed us through Villa Mimpi, along with welcoming drinks...and immediately I knew I had made the right decision in choosing Villa Mimpi. With so many villa's popping up in Bali the choice is endless but for me location and that "traditional Bali feeling" was important. Villa Mimpi is in the perfect location only a short stroll to the beach & restaurant strip and a money changer & spa within 20 metres. We loved the fact that Villa Mimpi had 4 queen size bedrooms all with our own ensuites, so that we had own space but could come together in the huge living/kitchen area. The water cooler was a bonus that saved us having to purchase bottle water every day and the bowl of fruit a pleasant surprise. It was great to see Made & Gede each day as they quietly went about their chores. The pool and day beds were clean and inviting and keeping in-touch with my business back in australia, having free wi-fi in the Villa was a huge bonus, but a little slow at times. But each day after a long hot day of shopping we couldn't wait to open the huge wooden gates to our own little slice off heaven in Villa Mimpi and the beautiful gardens. I would definitely recommended Villa Mimpi to all, even though I don't really want to let the secret out!

How nice to stay in a place that is very homey yet large enough to enable 3 generations of one family + friend to co-habit comfortably yet still have access to private bedroom, bathroom, balcony/courtyard with 3 separate sitting areas. All within 5 minutes walk of Double-Six beach, Legian's fantastic eateries and oh-so-chic Seminyak!
This villa is great for larger groups. families with children (the pool was well-utilized!) or anyone who really just wants to feel right at home in Bali without any of the pretensions.
Mal & Vanessa are lovely and Gede and Made go about their business in a pleasant and unobtrusive way.

Villa Mimpi is an outstanding residence in every regard. The two separate living areas that Mimpi offers and its obvious larger than normal size make it ideally suited to families or larger groups. The 4 double bedrooms suited our group perfectly.

We found this villa more than adequate for 2 x couples and 2 x teenage children. Tons of room for everyone and lots of areas to get away to. The bathrooms were a bit tired as was the kitchen. We wouldn't have wanted to cook in the kitchen as it was not too clean but the location was superb and we loved coming back to the peach and quiet each day. We would definitely go back there again.

From arriving and being greeted by Giday with his big smile and the beautiful gardens he keeps we knew we were on holiday! The villa was clean and welcomeing with big bedrooms and an ensuite to each bedroom. The pool was sparkling.
With the big hotel opposite and massages and facials starting around $10 aus we kept the girls busy. All 4 middle aged men enjoyed their 1st facials.
The dental work we had done at 911 Dempasar is fabulous and we will be back for more work. The bintangs on the beach followed by fish and chips for dinner was a highlight and we even enjoyed buying bangles and potions on the beach this time. The coffee at Mugshots is better than we have here in austalia! nobody likes people begging and that was the only real negative that we saw especially some children at the traffic lights on the way out to the airport.

Great villa in the best part of Legian. Gede and Made are very friendly and efficient staff -nothing seemed to bother them. The booking process through Pam was seamless. Ps thnx for the extra sunlounges.

Had a fantastic stay. Villa is very well set up for just relaxing. Restaurant next door so we could order food to be delivered. The maid Madae & Giday are just super.. We plan to come back for reunion with family... Don't worry about your sun hat as lots on beach!!
