Our family spent 8 days at the relaxing & well set out Villa Kamboja. The three rooms were perfect for the party of five My husband,myself, our mum & auntie & teenage son all had our own ensuites.The beautiful clean pool adjacent to two rooms was a delight to relax cool off & enjoy a drink around after a stroll down the quiet laneway from the great location of Legian, Double 66 and all the great shops, restaurants,cafes,Bingtang supermarket, Beach and great surf. only a short taxi ride into kuta for the less energetic. Our sixth stay in Bali and have fallen in love with the well maintained Villa Kamboja, expect to sight squirrels and birds peacefully singing in the surrounding garden. Beautiful smiles from the staff greet you on arrival, Pipiet was our savior many a time, providing us with everything asked of her including washing & ironing of our clothes the duration of stay. Pipiet is a loyal & trusted employee and will make you realise you are holidaying in paradise. Our family recommends Villa Kamboja to all. We definitely will return to stay with Gabriella & Osvaldo in their delightful Villa's. Brad and annette

We stayed at Villa Kamboja for 10 days. We will certainly be back.
The villa was well appointed. The Villa had 3 great bedrooms, all with their own ensuite. There was a Kitchen with stove, kettle, toaster, knives, forks etc etc. The pool was beautiful and clean as were the yards.
Pipet, the housekeeper was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble for her. She made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
The villa is about 800 mtrs from the Bintang Supermarket, and within easy walking distance of heaps of restaurants, shops etc.
I have had no problems recommending this villa to my family and friends. -

Our family stayed at Kamboja for a month over Xmas/NYE 2012/13. We found the location great , just far enough from the madness of kuta, only a stone throw from the double six strip, and at the start of the jalan legian/seminyak strip. We made frequent self drive trips around bali and found the access to the sunset bypass very convenient.
The bedrooms are great, A/C...4 poster with mossie net. Basic but functional kitchen facilities. The 3rd bedroom located on its own in the garden worked well for us...quarantining the teenagers. The pool is great...our son spent most of his time in it. We liked that there was always some shade on the pool which made it great on the hot days for cooling off.
Pepit, the house maid was a pleasure to have around and did a great job.
Kamboja is not the best appointed villa in bali, but is comfortable, in a great location, good facilities, and is just great value for 3 bed rooms. -

We found Villa Kamboja Senior just perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. Down a private quiet laneway, close to everything we needed including shops, restuarants, Bintang Supermarket and chemist. Fab location no far from Kuta and nearly in Seminyak. Thank you so much to Pipiet who do everything she could to make sure our stay was just perfect. Thankyou also to Osvaldo and Gabriella who are just delightful. So great to be able to slip into the pool from the bedroom or the living room. Get Pipiet to prepare your breakfast or stroll to a nearby restuarant. We would recommend this villa to families and couples. We would go back tomorrow if we could!

We have just returned after spending 14 nights with friends at Villa Kamboja and what a great experince. We were greeted so warmly by Peppit who orientated us to the villa. As we were the first to arrive in our group my husband and i had the big decision to make as to which bedroom we were going to have, which was probably the hardest/only one we had to make for the trip.
The villa was very clean and and met our needs,oops forgot to mention the fantastic pool which was well maintained,and Ketut (gardner) was jsut delightful. We all loved the fact that Pipet was able to prepare breakfast if we required and did our laundry each day she was also happy to do anything for us even our shopping. I also celebrated my 60th birthday whilst at the Villa and Peppit assisted with the decorating and made us some great salads and Nasi Goreng for the evening, unfortunately she was not able to join us for the celebration. Thank God for Ketut who was able to cut up our babi guling. I must mention that the Villa is in a great location and we felt safe at all times, however a little scary at times coming down the very narrow laneway in a taxi. The only issue that we had was the power went out one evening and the emergency light was not charged. -

We holidayed at this Villa for 7 nights in September and from the moment I booked online Osvaldo made the experience so easy. He emailed me everything we need to know, stayed in contact and emailed us the day before we left to ensure we knew where to meet our driver. This Villa located on the corner of Double 6 and Legion Street hidden down a quiet lane surrounded by high very private walls. The accommodation was perfect for our family, 4 adults and one child. The main bedroom has a huge four poster bed with an air conditioner which overlooks the private pool. Off that is a very large bathroom with large wardrobes. The shower and bathroom are slightly open to the elements. The other bedroom in the main building is just as large with a four poster bed, wardrobes and its own bathroom. My parents used the other bedroom which is in a separate building overlooking the private pool as well (this gave them extra privacy). This room has two single beds and is huge with wardrobes and its own bathroom. The lounge room and dining rooms are well appointed with fans. The villa also has a small kitchen with a full sized fridge. The kitchen is not as modern as the rest but perfect for what you need, with an oven, toaster, benches and condiments. The lounge and dining areas open onto the pool area with lounges and grass and trees surrounded by the high walls. It is very relaxing lounging around the pool area. The pool is kept clean every day by the pool man who is very discreet in getting the job done to ensure you are swimming in crystal clear water. The best part of this Villa is Pipit the maid who is assigned to the Villa. At first this freaked me out having someone around, but she was so lovely and even taught my dad and daughter a Bali card game. Pipit arrives at 9am and can cook you breakfast and get groceries for you. Pipit also washed our clothes and services the Villa every day. If you don’t want her around you can tell her she is not needed today. She is such a beautiful person. Another great addition was our driver Ketut who was only a phone call away whenever we needed him.
The Villa is located approx. 10 minutes from Legion Beach (best beach) although the footpaths down to the beach were quite difficult to walk on (these were being upgraded while we were there). A taxi to the beach was only $2 if needed and $4 back (one way streets so takes longer). We spent quite a few days on the beach relaxing on the lounges and boogie boarding, so it was great to come back to the peace and quiet of the Villa. A huge supermarket is located on Legion Street about a 10 minute walk from the Villa. Pipit will explain this all to you and they have everything you need. The villa has a little moisture damage and is being repainted. There are geckos, squirrels, and bugs which are to be expected and they make the experience more genuine.
The villa has mosquito nets which are needed especially this year. Take some spray and then put the nets up early and then you won’t get bitten. My daughter forgot hers the first night and was bitten all over her face. The brand ‘Off’ worked very well while we were there.
The only improvements I’d suggest would be: Supply a hairdryer (bring your own if you need one), a larger toaster (only 2 slice toaster), turn lights off pool earlier (thin curtains and lights stay on till 1am), also thicker curtains as sun rise very early), update TV (but only my daughter watched it a few times too much to do). These are just small suggestions as we thoroughly loved our stay at this Villa.
The only negative was the long lane which you need to walk down to get to and from the Villa. This lane is very narrow and most taxi’s won’t travel down it (Ketut always did). It is also a bit rocky in places, which is hard at night when it’s very dark. We used Iphone torches to travel along here at night.
Great access to restaurants and shopping and boutiques. This would be a great place for three couples, large families or anyone wanting to get away from the business of a resort. This place is excellent value for money and if you want to book it, especially on school holidays, get in early!

6 of us stayed at Villa Kamboja Senior and loved it.
Pipit who looked after us could not have been more helpful to each one of us,arrived every morning with a big smile on her face and would do anything we asked with the same smile.
Our bedrooms and ensuite were lovely and comfortable with air conditioning in each bedroom,lovely to walk into after doing our shopping.
The location was fabulous,very quiet in the Villa then just
a two minute walk and you were on the main road with all the shops you needed within walking distance.

What a fantastic experience. Such a beautiful Villa and the perfect location. The staff on hand is the most efficient and beautiful person for the job. The villa has more than enough room for six people and we were very impressed with everything about it. We will definatley be staying there again in the near future.

Villa Kamboja Senior was a nice surprise. It is in the heart of it all but just enough off the street to feel like you are in a quiet retreat. The villa was lovely and spacious for our family of 5. It had everything we needed, including a lovely maid. The owner, Osvaldo was very efficient in all aspects of the booking. We really had a great time in this Villa. It is a hop, skip and jump from all the aspects of Bali we loved. I would definitely recommend this Villa for families or couples wanting a relaxing but fulfilled holiday.

Pipit the helping lady make it so easy for us. house in very well conditions.. very close to amenities..superbly close and easy to get anything. It really felt like home...a very nice ambience and good energy to be in this villa.. room close to pool..direct sun..open blue sky.. loved it! won't asked for more. I just wishe i have more time..certainly coming back.

I booked direct with the Manager and was very impressed with the service. Its a beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location not far from the busy streets.
It would have been nice to have a microwave and one couple suggested heavy drapes would have made it perfect !

My friend and I decided to take our daughters on a mum/daughters holiday. The 2 teen girls shared 1 room while my friend and i had our own rooms. The staff were amazing and made our stay so much better. Would be back again in a heartbeat. One of the girls remarked on arriving - it looks just like the photos, which it does.

3 couples shared this villa for 16 nights. Each bedroom was very comfortable and bathroom were very clean. The studio and villa bedroom 1 had more light than bedroom 2. Safe is in bedroom 2. Comfy beds in all rooms. Everyone had a great nite sleep.
Pipet was on hand to do your washing, cooking and cleaning everyday if you needed her to. She called taxi's for us and organized massages when we wanted them.
The villa is in a great location off a gang in JL Legian. Double six is a 5 min walk and JL Melasti is about a 10min walk or plenty of taxi on Legian street. The taxi drivers did not like the narrow lane to drive down but when we reassured them that it widen they were happy to take us down the lane and if not they would just drop us off at Legian street and we would walk.
Loved the privacy of the villa and the pool was clean and great for cooling down, morning, noon and night.
Osvaldo was great with prompt emails before, during and after our stay. Any requests we had were always dealt with.
Would definitely stay at Villa Kamboja again. Lover my 1st Villa experience

I cant thank the villa owners Osvaldo and Gaby enough. their kindness and hospitality were invaluable to us as I had my mother with who is 75. They made my 50th birthday in Bali very special. The Villa was amazing. A treasure hidden behind the door. Plenty of room in the 3 bedroom villa for a family. Pippet the maid was amazing too and the nicest person. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wanting a special experience in Bali

We were looking for family friendly accomodation suitable for teenagers, in a location where we could walk to most things. Villa Kamboja really met this very well. A/con bedrooms with own bathrooms and a lovely pool we used multiple times daily. Set down a lovely laneway you would never know it joined one of the major streets. It always felt safe and private. Great to have daily maid service and the driver who picked us up from airport was available for private charter which we did twice. Any time we didn't walk or take the charter we would take a taxi ride for about $1.50! Lots of local restaurants, spa/salons, local large supermarket and little shops all within a 5-10 min walk or less. Beach a little longer, probably about 15 mins.
Noticed alot of accomodation in Seminyak /legian area seemed to have construction around it and they work till late, so was really relieved the only noise was occasional roosters and birds!
Only recommendations to improve would be heavier curtains/blinds as the sheers let in the light in main bedroom.
Nice to have filtered water supplied, and a bowl of fruit. Small kitchen but we only used it to make breakfast, rest of time too many restaurants to check out!.
The Owners were always quick to respond to email enquiries before we arrived and were very helpful once there.
Suits a family or group of 4 to 6 comfortably. Really enjoyed the experince and are wondering when we can go back! -

From the moment we were picked up from the airport to the moment we left, we felt like we were kings and queens. Even though you have extreme privacy, the staff were only too helpful and always asking if you needed anything which was great. Whenever we came back from an outing, the villa had been cleaned. Having a fully self contained villa (kitchen, dining, lounge, 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and not to forget the pool- no need to fight for a spot around the pool) was fantastic. 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms were in the main villa which had the kitchen/dining and lounge area. The 3rd bedroom was separated by the pool which is great if you have a couple with no children or people wanting some more privacy. I highly recommend staying here. The best thing about it was the villa looked exactly the same as the photos!!! Even though the villa was off Jalan Legian (Legian Street), it was so quiet and peaceful. There is a Mini-mart across the road which to my amazement was quite well stocked. Plenty of taxi's if you need one. The walk down Jalan Double Six to the beach was wonderful and only took 10 minutes (takes much longer if you look at all the wonderful shops). Lots of resturants and cafes to choose from. The walk along the beach towards Kuta was unreal. If you wanted to walk towards Jalan Padma(along Jalan Legian heading towards Kuta - lots of shops to look at as well) - again about 15 minutes. We will definitely be back. The owners are wonderful and could not be more helpful. They keep you well informed before you arrive via email and they make sure everything is alright. I even got an email when we arrive home to say thank you for staying at the villa - you won't get that anywhere else. Can't wait to book again!!! 2012 here we come!!!
