Over here you get the best of both worlds.
A luxurious, spacious and beautiful villa that offers a serene environment to just chill with my family members. Yet this place is just a stone throw from the popular Legian and Kuta districts. Whats more, they offer exception service, that is friendly yet professional. With our privacy and convenience in mind, the villa comes with a well trained team of housekeepers and a chef that is at your service. The cherry on top; they even went the extra mile to provide a local number and a phone for us to use during our stay. Superb! -

Parisso much luxury in one place

I stayed a few days at Villa amira with my wife last november. We only used one room (the one on the top overlooking the trees, my favorite) and felt like we lived in a castle.
The villa itself is... where do I start ? breathtakingly beautiful ? jaw-droppingly amazing ? I can go on like that for a while.
You can tell the villa has been decorated by a professional interior designer, furnitures and decorations are great.
The owner is such a gentleman and was always ready to help us out.
Staff and security always kind and smiling.
Location is perfect, right in the center of Legian though very quiet because not on the main road.
Well, I have been coming to Bali for almost 20 years and I can say this is definitely one of the top 5 places I have stayed in as far as luxury and services are concerned.
5 stars well deserved. -

I would like to extend a very warm thank-you to the staff at Villa amira and John for all their help and hospitality during our recent stay. The villas presentation, design, spaces, ambience, landscaping has been graciously executed to a standard of 5 Star luxury. The addition of an inhouse chef ready to cook banquet meals, daily breakfasts and collect other shopping items as requested is yet another detail which amplifys the perfect no hustle luxury. Johns local knowledge is yet another asset to making the overall stay something special, assisting with restaurant bookings as we were a group of 8, booking in house massages daily, yoga classes to start the day off and arranging a 30th Bali themed birthday party. The higlight for all was not just the Villa but the Birthday evening. Staff at the villa transformed the interiors something similar to that of a Balinese festival with hand made decorations and a banquet meal fit for royalty. To top the night off we had the beautiful dancers of Bali present a traditional fan dance in authentic Baliense dress.
Lazing by the beautiful pool, whilst staff secretly freshen our rooms daily, then receiving massages or eating we were all well relaxed and not wanting to leave. Our 6 day stay at Villa amira was something very special not to be forgotten. I look forward to returning to Villa amira next year to catch up with John and the girls. -

This villa is absolutely amazing!! John as our host was extremely accomadating with our original booking, during our stay and even after leaving as I'm rebooking for another visit. The villa staff, including a personal chef and security guard are all very attentive and very sweet. The villa location itself is on a back street but this is a quick two Minute walk to the main areas. Could not fault at all, our stay was perfect. Thank you so much!

We stayed in this home for 8 nights in October 2012. It was perfect! John was so helpful arranging scooter rentals delivered to our home, telling us the best shopping and day trips, finding the healthiest food and overall making sure we felt pampered and comfortable. He is a real asset to this rental. His attention to detail is unsurpassed. The staff was great too. 8 days with no cleaning, cooking, etc! They have an in-house cook who was great. She cooked traditional Indonesian dishes, breakfasts, juices, coffees, pastas, etc. She even packed us sandwiches for the plane home. It was so nice not to have to go out on the town with our 2 small children! The food was amazing too! The house is super fancy and a great modern design. Very quiet rooms with good space between them (I didn't have to worry that my baby cried at night occasionally!).
The best surfing was at the beach directly closest to us.
Fantastic shopping.

We rented Villa amira for 8-nights with my entire family. My husband and I were married in Ubud the week before, and when we arrived to the villa in Legian, we were greeted by John and the entire staff. They had welcome drinks ready for us, and every room was perfectly clean, modern, and decorated with amazing flowers and care.
They had even prepared a honeymoon suite for my husband and I with a rose petal design on the bed and a bathtub filled with petals and topped with yet another heart.
The staff was so lovely and Iluh our cook made the best food! We were only planning on having breakfasts in the villa, but after having her cooking once, we ended up staying in for dinner almost every night.
Our group had young babies, and the staff (Kadek and others) took care to watch the babies and play with them and made us feel so at home. John ensured the kitchen was always fully stocked with everything we requested, and even provided things like mats for the babies on the floor, toys, and a cell phone for our use.
John was also great at arranging drivers and letting us know about great stores, nearby activities, etc. He rented scooters for us that were delivered to the villa, and picked up there when we left so we never needed to leave. He also worked out massages in the villa for those that wanted it, and printed maps for nearby places we could visit.
The staff kept the villa perfectly clean, and we had daily plumeria blossoms on our beds and in our bathrooms.
Iluh the cook brought us on a tour of the fish market when we asked her, and when my sister forgot her passport on the way to the airport, John hopped on his scooter and brought it to her right away.
The villa is beautiful in every detail and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is a true Balinese treasure and the surroundings are quiet, safe, and secure (there is an overnight guard as well).
The beds are new and comfortable, the hot water is great, the pool is clean and the entire design lends itself to relaxation and fun. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, and everything is just as advertised and better.
I'm not one for reviews often, but Villa amira took our breath away in every sense. Thank you!! -

Being the very first guests to stay @villa amira in legian was indeed a privilage! the lovely wayan delivered us into our private villa and we spent the first evening exploring the compound with delight. John was there to greet us and had the forsight to have an indonesian sim card all prepared for our personal use.
Frangapanie trees, palms, waterfall, and friendly staff greeted us. Our hosts were kind enough to have kitchen supplies already in the cupboards before our arival. Each villa room has been Individually decorated with unique artifacts from around the archepelago, adding a local flavour to the modern and functional complex .The owner Sam, has gone to immense lengths to create a haven within the haven that is bali. Villa amira went beyond our expectations and will remain a fond memory for ever! Thanks Ni low, Kadke, Wayan, Komang,Sri, John and Pak Sam for everything
