It is located ten minutes walk from the iconic Legian beach alongside popular restaurants including Blue Ocean, Lannai, Deja Vu Kitchen and Zanzibar. It is also a minutes walk to Jalan Legian and the wide variety of shopping and night spots that this area contains.
The access to Tempat Tenang is via a quiet local gang that is wide enough for vehicle access. We have just arrived home from an 8 day stay in Tempat Tenang and was so happy with our choice of accommodation. The villa has everything you could possibly want - all the comforts of home, convenience to restaurants, shopping and the beach, and the best staff possible. The villa is well appointed and it was lovely to have our own private pool (which our two school aged boys loved) but the best thing about our stay is how helpful the staff were. They organised for us to have groceries in the fridge for our arrival and when my husband left his iPhone 5 in a taxi, they were there to help us contact the taxi company. Coming back to australia, we discovered we needed to file a police report for our insurance company and Jack, the Villa manager, was more than happy to do this on our behalf, still providing excellent service beyond our stay. After staying at Tempat Tenang, you'll never want to book a mass-package hotel deal again!

After many talks over the phone and Skype. Our group of friends decided that we should take a holiday together and all agreed that Bali would be the perfect location for us to meet up because through the years we have all moved and lives in different parts of the world.
I was speaking to a friend about my up and coming trip to Bali and he recommended that should get in touch with his friend named Jack who owns several villas in Bali to see if one is available. After conversing with Jack via email we decided to book villa Tempat Tenang.
The driver was waiting for us at the airport and delivered us to the villa (now that is service!) The villa was even more stunning than the photo on the web page! It is beautiful, spacious and impeccable villa. It has everything you need just like home! It is situated in a quiet local gang away from the hustle and bustle of the hectic streets of Legian yet walking distance to all amenities. The staff was very accommodating to our needs - all we have to do is to ask.
It was our first time to Bali and Jack was very kind to offer to show us Bali in his spare time. We loved this personal touch - would never get this kind of service if we were staying at a resort! We had a fantastic time! We will definitely come back and stay here again! -

I stayed here beginning of November 2012 with my daughter and another couple. The Villa is in a great location within walking distance to the beach and shops or you can jump in a cab at the end of the lane to go shopping in Seminyak or Kuta. The staff were so lovely and could not do enough for you. It was my first Villa experience as I have always stayed in hotels. I am totally sold on the villa experience now and will find it hard to go back to hotel stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and lovely. It was fantastic not to fight for a pool lounger and being able to swim and relax by the pool at night. I highly recomend to stay here.

My family and I have been going to bali for many years and stayed at numerous hotels & villas, but finally we have found a little gem.
Tempat Tenang is tucked away for that you don't heard the street traffic noise at all...yet its centrally located so that you are just a short walk away from some great beach cafe's & restaurants. It's location is one of this villas greatest assets. The villa itself contains all that you need and we were extremely impressed by the owner (an aussie Expat who lives in bali). We found the owner (Jack) to be very accommodating. He was only too pleased to assist us with several special arrangements ranging from transport, babysitting and special meals. He was also very prompt in attending to the repair of a noisy a/C unit.
My wife & I cannot speak highly enough of the owner, his villa and its great location.

We had 5 boys stay at this villa and it was perfect.
Its in a great location and the villa is immaculate.
Would highly recommend staying here and will be coming back for sure!

The villa is large, luxurious, clean and in a great location. Walking distance to all in Legian and very quiet. Definitely recommend it and we will stay here again" -

We had the best 2 week family holiday! The location is walking distance to main roads, restaurants, shops and the beach. If you dont want to walk a taxi is available from the 2 main streets both 5 min walk from the peaceful villa.Close to the hustle and bustle but a tranquill hide-away once the gates are closed. The kids couldn't believe their own queen size bed and ensuite upstairs!! The pool is beautiful - perfect for me to finish a book around and our 10 yr old daughter to endlessly dive for coins! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We loved having the choice of either eating in or out. Cant wait to go back!!! I lovde having space rather than being in a small resort room living on top of each other!

This villa is the most perfect place to experience what Bali is all about! The location is amazing, hidden away from the noisy streets but still in very close walking distance to amazing restaurants and shops. The closest street is a busy road which means its very easy to catch a taxi to go wherever you want! I couldn't have asked for a more amazing time with my friends away and it was all thanks to this villa, the pool is amazing and there is so much room in the villa for everyone to relax, I highly recommend staying here!!
