Additional Location Information
We live in a rural area with lots of trees and farm land. You may hear a neighbor's rooster crow in the morning, or a mule "eeawww" out in the cattle pasture across the street. Wildlife abounds with frequent deer, bird, and even the occassional armadillo sighting! There are many horse lovers in the area, some who ride the Natchez Trace Trail on a regular basis. And of course, we have our own collection of furry family members. Three dogs and a cat call our place home. Sometimes we feel like they "allow" us to live here with them! It's the perfect place to relax and commune with nature.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and had a very nice stay. Jeff and Robin were very nice and accomodating. And even though their house was very close to the cabin, we felt we had a private stay. We loved the back woods country area and was very nice after visiting Nashville. Thanks Jeff and Robin for the nice stay and warm welcome.

Cycler's Rest was the perfect place for us to stay. From start to finish, Robin was incredibly kind and helpful. She was easy to contact through e-mail and very detail oriented. She even sent us a brochure in the mail one week before we arrived. The cottage is located in a very private location, and Robin and Jeff are right next door if you need anything. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The 3 dogs are very friendly and will want to be your best friend. :) Robin so kindly let us borrow her and Jeff's bikes so we could take a ride and enjoy the beautiful scenery. She even gave us some snap peas and fresh strawberries from her garden upon our departure. She also pointed out some hidden gems in Leiper's Fork for us to visit and told us exactly where some of the "Stars" lived so we could drive by and see their homes. :) Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Cycler's Rest and we would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a getaway and a beautiful drive down some country roads!

I am a recording artist/singer songwriter who tours all over the country and I want to say one of the best stays I ever had was at Cyclers rest just outside of Leiper's Fork, TN. I was in town for some shows with two of my best friends and my mother who came down from southern in to spend Mother's Day weekend with us. We had a blast. Everything we needed was in the cottage, we had room for all four of us, and a quiet nights rest. If you like noise, don't stay at Cycler's rest, stay in the city, on the concrete and near all the traffic. If you like to be close to all that but get away from it all, take a nice quiet walk in the morning with coffee in hand and watch to sun come up, then stay here!
I recommended Cyclers rest to my producers who live in the area and they are also recommending it for their out of town guests.
Thank you Robin and Jeff, and your beautiful sweet dogs who came to say hello every morning! definitely be back!

I can't remember a more relaxing atmosphere at any place I've stayed in the past, and that includes my two favorite places San Destin Resort in Florida and Mount LeConte in Gatlinburg TN.
The drive to the cottage was beautiful, the cottage itself is surrounded by fields, trees and the sounds of nature that remind me of the things I really hold dear. Inside was spotless and uncluttered.
I hope to visit Robin and Jeff again soon. Their sweet pets are an added bonus, I enjoyed visiting with Peanut, Addie and Felony on the porch. -

My husband and I were traveling from OK to Va so the Nashville area was a perfect halfway point for a good nights rest. We specifically looked for a place like this and we're so glad that we found it! The owners really take care of it and have decorated it well. I hope we're in their neck of the woods again so we can pay another visit.

My husband and I chose Cycler's Rest as our honeymoon destination. The price was very reasonable and it was only about an hour or so from where we lived. A great get-away for us! The cottage had all that we needed. The roads were great for bicycle riding and the small community of Leiper's Fork was not far away. Robin was the perfect hostess offering anything that we might have forgotten. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, you just found it! Rob & Janice

My wife and I loved Cycler's Rest. Yes, it is out of the way, but positives far outweigh that. The cabin is immaculately clean, thoroughly modern, and very tastefully decorated. The bed was high quality, and extremely comfortable. It was delightfully quiet. Everything you might need for cooking, cleaning, or just relaxing was there in the cabin. Setting up the accommodation was easy and convenient. If you are heading for Franklin, or in the Lieper's Fork area, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Cycler's Rest.

What a gem! Cycler's Rest! We found it to be a wonderful restful place to get away and it felt like home. The Jones are fabulous people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best. Peanut the dog also makes sure you feel welcomed.
This remote location gives you tranquility and nature, yet is close enough to Nashville and other lovely small communities that there is lots to do. -

My wife and I recently stayed at Cyclers Rest. The cabin has everything we needed for a Tennessee retreat. Amazingly clean and cozy we really enjoyed eating and reading on the back and front porches. The bed is one of those Temperpedic mattresses...like sleeping on a marshmellow! Robin and her husband are wonderful hosts...will be back for sure.

Left on 06/12/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Do not hesitate on this one! It's a rare find off the beaten path but close enough to the Natchez Trace, Leiper's Fork, Franklin and Nashville.
The spacious cottage is pleasantly decorated and comes equipted with all the comforts of home. Two rocking chairs on the front porch and the table on the back deck are great additions to the peaceful atmosphere. Jeff and Robin are gracious hosts who are willing to please by offering produce from their garden or making sure their bikes are in good working order for their guests.
Our only regret is that our trip was too short but three nights were enough to know that we will recommend this place to others and want to come back soon! -

If you are a nature lover and love the outdoors, then staying here will be very heartwarming and welcoming.
We drove up to it, and it was perfect, it was the perfect distance away from the shops and strip of stores. And was secluded enough that you didn't realize that the business district was so close.
Honestly if I could live there I would.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay, and feel that staying in the country side with a southern touch or hospitality and warm weather, and the added bonus of mother nature all around you. Then this is the place for you.
Robin and Jeff are very friendly and their 3 little dogs too. If you need something they are there to help you right away. We were thrilled with their gramophone player. They made us feel that we are home with our family.
We would definitely visit Cycler's Rest again. So I do recommend staying here. -

My wife and I stayed at Cycler's Rest for 2 weeks, we are songwriter's and have dreamed of living in Franklin, this gave us a good taste of what life in the country would be like. The owner's and hosts Robin & Jeff, who we can now call our friends, were amazing, they made sure we had everything we needed and more. The cottage was beautifully decorated and is fully equipped, a full kitchen for cooking those home-style meals, laundry and vinyl player with a collection of records.
This place is perfect for songwriters, musicians, cyclists or ones just looking for a country get away.
They have 3 very friendly dogs, we grew very attached and we'll miss them very much...
I got to pick tomatoes that were growing in the front of the cottage that I could use in my salad. Although we were not big cyclists Jeff let us use his bikes to ride the Natchez Trace Parkway, which was so beautiful and safe as there is very little traffic.
Although you are almost an hours drive from most places, it is one of the most beautiful drives in the world, you pass many famous Country Star's houses, and Robin will be more then happy to point them out to you. We loved our stay there, it felt like a second home for us and we will return, I highly recommend this peaceful little cottage.

Left on 06/30/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We had three great days of cycling the Trace and relaxed in this awesome cabin located nearby. The owners are very nice people who give you plenty of privacy and will help you with anything you might need. One of the great features is a dining room table that has a map of the entire Trace and is covered by glass. Dry erase markers are provided so that you can plan your rides while chilling in the a/c. We can not wait to return this Fall. And they have two super friendly dogs in case you're missing your buddies.
