Welcome to our vacation apartments right at the Leipzig fairground’s Messemagistrale! They are as unique as Leipzig itself. The apartments are furnished in style and with all comforts: new kitchens, parquet flooring, internet access, large windows, elevator, and two sunny balconies per apartment., key advantages: central location, comfortable, 1 large living/family room with dining area, , fully equipped kitchen, upgraded interiors, clean, well furnished, very comfortable, makes you feel at home, bright and inviting, There is also additional street parking available for this object, Apartment 1: The Sixties

Between Tradition and Moder...nity

Apartment 1 is dominated by furniture from the Sixties. They were still handmade and are of solid quality. Surfaces shine in wood veneer; there are many typical small details, e.g. the drawer’s grips made of formed wood. The floor lamp in the living room is designed in much more modern ways, but also from the same period; it is among the German Democratic Republic’s design classics. We combined those items with strong colors to create a light and comfortable atmosphere.

Kitchenette, sleeper sofa, mattresses, all textiles and electric appliances are new, by the way – you don’t have to give up any comforts.

The apartments are equipped to make light travel easy: we offer towels, bed linens, hair dryer, shower, and even coffee, tea, and mineral water for the first night.

* Every apartment has a chest of toys.

* Behind the house, there is a lawn for playing badminton or ball; equipment is in the toy chest.

* On request, we provide a pushbike or a 16-inch children’s bike, plus helmet, for free.

* If needed, children’s cot, high chair, diaper-changing mattress, potty and children’s tableware are available.

Prices:

* Children up to 12 years, accompanying their parents or grandparents, stay for free.

* Per stay, a fee of EUR 20 per final cleaning is charged.

* Bed linens, towels, and internet access are included in the price.

* If needed, a parking spot 200 m from the house can be rented for EUR 4 per day.

* From the seventh night, a rebate of 10% goes into effect.

This unit is located conveniently near Leipzig/Halle Airport. From Leipzig/Halle Airport the distance to the unit at WindmĂĽhlenstraĂźe 37, 04107 Leipzig is about 22 km (13.7 miles), approximately a 25 minutes drive by car. Location:
The two apartments are in the city center, in one of the first Plattenbauten at the Messemagistrale, built 1965.
The tramway stops right in front of the house and brings you directly to the fairgrounds. Cafés, bakeries, supermarket, etc. are right across the street. City center, opera, and Gewandhaus can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes.
How to Get Here, by Train:
The central tramway stop is right in front of the main train station. Take line 16 towards Lössnig, get out at the third stop, Bayrischer Platz and you’ll be right in front of the house.
How to Get Here, by Car:
A 14 from the east or west:
Coming from the east, leave autobahn A 14 on exit Leipzig Nordost and follow B 87 into the center. Coming from the west, take exit Leipzig Mitte and follow B 2 into the center. Follow the signs towards Grimma, Altes Messegelände on the inner city ring road. On the Rossplatz, turn into Grünewaldstrasse and continue on it to the next intersection with traffic lights. Keep half-left, again towards Grimma, Alte Messe. That way, you will reach the Windmühlenstrasse, on which you continue to Bayrischer Platz.
A 9 from the south or A 38 from the west:
Exit A 9 at the Rippachtal intersection and change onto A 38. Take exit Leipzig Süd. Follow B 2 into the city center to turn right onto the inner city ring road. Follow the signs towards Grimma, Altes Messegelände. Turn right into Grünewaldstrasse and continue on it to the next intersection with traffic lights. Keep half-left, again towards Grimma, Alte Messe. That way, you will reach the Windmühlenstrasse, on which you continue to Bayrischer Platz.
A 9 from the north:
Leave on exit Leipzig West and follow B 181 into the city center. Turn right onto the inner city ring road. Follow the signs towards Grimma, Altes Messegelände. Turn right into Grünewaldstrasse and continue on it to the next intersection with traffic lights. Keep half-left, again towards Grimma, Alte Messe. That way, you will reach the Windmühlenstrasse, on which you continue to Bayrischer Platz.
If you have booked our parking spot: Left on Bayrischer Platz onto Arthur-Hofmann-Strasse, immediately left into Riemannstrasse, then into the second driveway: parking spot nr. 26.

More travel info about Leipzig: Leipzig is, with a population of over 511,252, the largest city in the federal state of Saxony, Germany. Compared to other cities, the city of Leipzig survived the Second World War was mostly unharmed and most of the original structure is still in place. The area around the Barfussgaesschen gives an impression of how closely the buildings in the city center formerly stood. Side by side are historic buildings of the Renaissance, Baroque, and 19th century periods, and there are numerous picturesque corners and winding passages.
