The village of Les Arcs is less than thirty minutes away from the beaches of the St. Tropez Gulf. Arriving in S.te Maxime it is possible to follow the costal road to the east to Frejus, St. Raphaël, Cannes, Antibes; and to the west to Port Grimaud, St.Tropez, the Pampelonne beaches. The cobalt blue sea, the mega yachts and the chic “promenades” of villages that once upon a time were small fisherman ports, are all part of the typical setting of the Côte d’Azur. If you want to leave the jet set behind you, in the area of Les Arcs it’s possible to walk through the vineyard and visit different local wineries to taste the local reds and rosé. Different paths in the neighbouring hills and mountains offer the possibility to enjoy hikes in the maquis, fully immersed in stunning, unspoiled nature. Near by golf courses enrich your relaxation opportunities. Travelling to the north, through a bucolic scenery, in less than one hour by car it is possible to reach the S.te Croix lake, at the foot of the “Gorges du Verdon”. The lake, surrounded by lush vegetation offers sandy and pebble beaches and it’s ideal for a nice swim in its blue waters. The “Gorges du Verdon” is the deepest European canyon, a marvel of nature, where it is possible to do kayaking, canoeing, hiking, trekking. A unique, open scenery where human presence is not felt .... In the heart of Europe. The region has a lot of towns and villages worth a visit; from Draguignan, the main town, to Chateaudouble, Cotignac, Carces, Aups, typical Provencal villages perched on mountains. Between the sea, hills, vineyards, lake, mountains, sports, history and art, without forgetting the culinary tradition, whatever your inclination and preferences there is no time to waste.

How to get to Les Arcs

The village is located 5 km from the exit number 38 of the A8 highway (St. Tropez - Draguignan); about 75 km from « Nice Côte d’Azur » to the east and « Toulon – Hyères » to the west, the two closest airports, unless you decide to fly a private jet landing at « Cannes Mandelieu », less than 50 km from Les Arcs. If you are using the train the railway station of Les Arcs is on the Marseille – Nice TGV line. The Bastide “A Quinta” is only 1100 mt. away. Once settled in Les Arcs, the railway line offers the possibility to easily visit the costal towns without worrying about traffic and parking : Frejus, St. Raphaël, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Monaco, Menton to the east ; Hyeres e Toulon to the west. Boat services are available from S.te Maxime (not reachable by train but well organised with ample parking next to the port and the beaches) to St. Tropez, as well as from different ports along the coast to the beautiful nearby islands.
