We had a fabulous time here. The cottage is lovely and has everything you need including a hairdryer. There were many thoughtful items to be used including tea & coffee - even some slippers! If you forget anything don't worry because the owner has probably thought of it and provided it for you. The cottage is in a very picturesque place and you can be as active or as relaxed as you like. Plenty of car parking and garden area for the children to play in and even the dog next door is so friendly and loves playing with the kids (he was lovely and we had no concern with him spending time with the children he never gave any cause for concern). The owners of the local shop were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Apart from the shop the cottage is a little distance from amenities but this didn't bother us, must admit the footpaths are in part non existent so not so good for small children. The cottage is well placed for accessing other activities although beware Lettermore is not actually signposted Lettermore it is signposted by the Irish name Leitir Moir. The road numbers don't always tally either so do your research first. Not for people who like to be in busy places but perfect for those who like peace and tranquillity in beautiful surroundings. Last but not least the owner is a lovely person and nothing is too much trouble. Enjoy the open fire - it's bliss

It was the best accommodation that I had in 5 weeks
Left on 09/24/2013 for a stay in July 2013 | Janet
There was nothing I had to bring or buy except food and drink. Other places had no clock, just a few towels, no heat except for a fireplace, no kleenix, and the only thing I wish it had was internet (a scarcity all of my 6 weeks). This was by far the best accommodation that I had in 5 weeks.
