Lane's End Leura is at the end of a short no through lane in the Blue Mountain's village of Leura - the heart of the mountains. The locality is quiet & peaceful yet the village mall is only a 10 minute walk away. An entrance to the heritage listed Blue Mountains national park is less than 200 metres away.
Bushwalking, stunning views, streams and waterfalls, golf course, the village mall with shops cafes & restaurants are all within walking distance.

We spent two and a half weeks here while our 3 year old had surgery at Westmead. We changed the booking a couple of times and David was very accommodating, even offering to leave a light on if we arrived late. The welcome hamper was fantastic and we instantly felt at home. The house is very comfortable, well equipped, and we loved the outdoor space. It was the perfect place to base ourselves for the time we were here and there was plenty of room for 4 of us and a couple of family members who came and went. Close to Leura Mall and all the local attractions, it was simply perfect. Our only complaint is that the place was a bit dusty when we arrived and it's probably due for a really deep clean, given the length of time and reason why we were there it would've been good to have the option of having someone come in and clean just once (an extra i would willing pay for!) but other than that we loved it and will definitely come back!

We 4 (ladies) enjoyed our stay very much. The accomodations were very clean, the continental breakfast provided was nice and the beds were comfortable. We could have used another mirror in the small bath, 4 women and 1 mirror is tough. As the weather was inclement it was great to have a big screen tv and lots of movies to choose from. Movies was not how we planned to spend our visit but it sure helped us out.

MICozy and Pleasant Stay at Lane's End Leura

My family including 2 young children had a wonderful 2-night stay at Lane's End. Located just 2 lanes away from Leura Mall in quiet surrounds, it was a great base for us to visit the Blue Mountains. The single-storey house had large gardens and patios out front and back which would be great for a BBQ or sipping wine (though we didn't have the luxury of time to do that). The interior of the house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable, homely stay. Kitchen was modern, well-equipped and well-stocked and David also left us a beautiful breakfast hamper! Living room had plush sofas, a huge LCD TV and collection of Dvds. The 3 bedrooms (sleeping up to 6 pax) were comfy and tastefully furnished and the children's room was a particular delight for the children with baskets of soft toys. The driveway and garage would fit at least 2 cars but may be a tight squeeze for larger vehicles. The one main bathroom had both shower and tub and there was a separate toilet w/o shower behind the laundry area. Coming off a few motel/hotel stays, we were glad for the washing machine, dryer and other laundry needs. There were also portable heaters in the event the weather turns chilly. All in all, Lane's End makes for a very comfortable, cozy and homely stay for exploring the Blue Mountains. I felt that a lot of care and thought was put into the furnishing and decor of the house. My feedback would be that one of the mattresses in the children's room may need to be replaced as we found it too saggy. I also felt that the garden spaces and patio could do with a bit of sprucing up as it has great potential for outdoor activities and relaxation during the warmer months. Hope this feedback is useful.

A high specification, clean house in a quiet position, yet within walking distance of Leura Mall with it's excellent individual shops and also very close to walking access for the National Park. The nicely laid out and well maintained private garden had good sitting out areas.
