Ta-Pocketa is located just above the ocean, with breathtaking views of the North Sound and the surrounding islands. The villa is designed in two separate wings. The interiors feature high vaulted ceilings and is furnished in wicker and pastel hues. A spacious Great room consists of the living/ding area and kitchen. A wall of sliding glass doors lead from the Great Room to the enclosed covered porch, providing spectacular panoramic views and additional sitting and dining areas. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had a great time!
There are beautiful views and landscaping. The furniture and decor is comfortable and tasteful. The housekeeping was wonderful - fresh towels and clean dishes daily! The master mattress could have been more comfortable. You can tell the home is well cared for otherwise.
The pool was a little chilly and we were wishing for a hot tub!
We liked having the kitchen so we could save money making some of our own meals and cocktails. They have a cute library and plenty of tourist materials for learning about the island.
We kept the windows open all week and had a fabulous breeze. Some nights it was so windy it kept us awake! But lovely compared to traffic noise :)
We liked being on Leverick Bay so we could easily go to Saba Rock or Beyc. You definitely want a rental car so you can get to the rest of Virgin Gorda. Walking distance to the Leverick Bay Resort.
