Newport, Shropshire, UKApartment with an amazing view
Left on 05/21/2013 for a stay in May 2013
Lovely apartment, in a very peaceful setting right on the lakeside. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard - the best seat in the house was without doubt on the balcony. Binoculars are a must have!
Overall, a great place to explore the area.

Words can't begin to describe the views from this apt. directly on Lake Como. Absolutely gorgeous! The apt. is newly updated and was a pleasure to stay there. It is so peaceful looking at the boats pass by and feeding the ducks and swans from the small "harbour" attached to the property. Anna, the owner was very prompt in any requests we had and was a delightful person. We took long ferry rides (2 hours up the lake and back, and then another 2 hours down the lake to Como and back). We loved our week stay here!

Left on 02/12/2012 for a stay in October 2011
We arrived at this apartment around 11pm on Sunday night...it was pitch black & you could just make out the outline of the tops of the mountains on the western side of the lake.We didn't know what it was going to look like in the morning, but we knew it was going to be spectacular
It was...wildly so!!!
We awoke the next morning to the most incredible view. The apartment nestles over the edge of the lake & the vista on the western side just beggars belief.
The apartment itself is beautifully appointed & very good value for money. It's a very quiet & peaceful place & Lezzeno is a sleepy, typical italian village. We always hire a car, but you really do need one here, although there's plenty to do nearby, with Bellagio, Mennagio & Varenna (lovely & a bit different).
Overall, I was surprised how stunning Lake Como was & this apartment over exceeded all of our expectations...the kids loved it! -

We had a very hard time leaving La Cavagnola after a week stay. The apartment was even more beautiful than the pictures made it look. It was comfortable, clean and modern. The location was incredible. We didn't have a car, and relied on the bus, which stopped only a few meters down the road. It was so convenient to get anywhere on the lake from where we stayed. The views from every window were breathtaking. We loved the deck and outdoor spaces as well. We even met the neighbors, who were extremely friendly. Anna met us on our first day to show us how everything worked and she was very helpful and friendly. We would love to come back every year but we are afraid to recommend it to our friends, because it would become too popular and we would never get back in. I think you can tell that we absolutely loved it.

Zug, SwitzerlandPeaceful serenity right at the lakeside
Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011
In an attempt to get away from the expat rat-race in Switzerland, I found a totally peaceful, well appointed and comfortable home away from home in La Cavagnola. Leaving the main bedroom's doors open to the lake each night, the sounds of the lake gave me the R&R; I was looking for.
For future guests, I do suggest bringing along some basic kitchen cleaning supplies (dishwashing liquid, scrubber etc) as the kitchen has most things available, but not all. -

Left on 07/06/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Four members of our family stayed at La Cavagnola on Lake Como during the first week in June this year and despite the inclement weather we really enjoyed our stay. It is set right on the edge of the lake and is a great spot to watch the birds, boats and the beautiful scenery surrounding the lake.
The accommodation is excellent, features its own private garden, balconies and a decked area for sunbathing, which we made the most of when the sun did come out.
I would just point out that it has quite a few steps down to the apartment from the road which would not suit everybody.
I thought at the price a BBQ would have been provided, we bought one and it is now in the garden. -

Croydon, United KingdomFantastic apartment what a location!!!
Left on 06/18/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We stayed here for a week in June 2011. Great location and centrally placed for the whole lake. You need a car but there is ample parking at the place unlike every where else on th lake where parking is at a premium. Alot of money has been sent on the apartment and the view from the loo is stunning.
On gripe as have learnt with Italy need to take a kettle which we did and needed a toaster as using the combi oven was a faff and a little starter pack would have been fantastic as the hunt for a super market on the first day was a struggle.
Typical picky Brits!!! -

tavistockbeautiful la cavagnola!
Left on 10/29/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We spent 4 blissful days in the sunshine at La Cavagnola apartment in june this year. We were hugely impressed with the property and facilities in general, and of course the location- literally right on the shores of the gorgeous Lake Como. It was comfortable, relaxing and rejuvenating and my only regret is that we didn't spend longer there! To sum up- unusually, it was exactly as it was described in the brochure! We will be back.
