Though just up the hill from the center of town, this Rapallo apartment rental is protected from the crowds; it even has a private garden with beautiful sea views. You'll have your own private residence from which to enjoy the engaging seaside town of Rapallo, which has an interesting castle and a lovely historic district. Your vacation apartment in Rapallo is also a great place from which to take ferries to surrounding areas, including the Cinque Terre and Portofino.

[250 m2] This apartment is surrounded by its own private panoramic garden shaded by olive trees and jasmine. The view in front is of the bay of Rapallo and Portofino, and... another part of the garden goes around the house to the back. There is also a garage for parking one car.

[160 m2] Ground Floor: Entering into this apartment, you will find yourself in an L-shaped living room with sliding French doors that open into the garden. The living room includes a couch and other comfortable furniture as well as a TV, air conditioning, a dining table for four, and an open-plan kitchen area, fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, stove, and microwave. An enclosed veranda [or sun room] has a table and chairs, and opens onto the garden. There are also a total of four bedrooms. The first room has a 160 cm queen size bed, while the second and third rooms each contain two twin beds [these can be joined upon request]. The fourth room contains one single bed. There are also three bathrooms. The first two have sink, toilet, and tub with handheld showerhead, while the third bathroom is smaller and has a sink, toilet, and shower.

This vacation apartment is located just up the hill from Rapallo, with a view of the splendid Portofino Peninsula and within only ten minutes' walk from town. If you don't want to walk, there is also a shuttle which runs four times per day. In town you will find fancy yachts anchored in the bay and casual seafood restaurants alongside designer shops. The bay is also notable for the presence of the rather unique castle, built right on the water at the end of a small rocky jetty, originally to protect the town from pirate raids. In Rapallo there are also several interesting churches and public buildings to visit. Ferries depart from Rapallo for Portofino, S. Margherita, and the Cinque Terre.

  Great space in the property, you could see Portofino very well from the apartment. The gardens were well kept, and the owner left an instructions book with everything you could possibly need to know.
  
  The apartment was at the top of a steep hill. As we had rented a minbus it was hard to drive up due to vehicles being parked along the way to one side. But it was a very secure place to stay with locked gates only accessed by a key.
  
  The area was beautiful with lots of shops, and market stalls on a Saturday morning along the main beach front.

  It's perfect for adults ... OK for children too.
  
  It has magical views. It is right in the center of Liguria province, next to Portofino, and Cinque Terre.
  
  The property sits atop of a steep hill. Although there is a private shuttle taking residents to the city, it is not flexible enough ... so we had to walk up the hill a few times.
  
  Liguria is Italy at its best ... nature, culture and history have come together to create an authentic Italian experience.
