We stayed at Mango Hale for a week to attend a conference at the Marriott hotel. For the price of a room, we get and entire home, with beautiful mango trees and a nice garden.
The house is just in from of the hotel, it took us 3 minutes to get into the conference room or to the beach. the shopping mall is just next door with many restaurants, and some good shop (got a great deal on Helicopter adventure).
It can be noisy because it's just next to the road, however, picking mangos every day from the garden was a real treat!

The house is roomy and pleasant, decorated like a true traditional Hawaiian home. I fully expected Magnum to come strolling in. My only regret was that the mangos were not ready to pick...there would have been hundreds! A quick walk to a lovely beach with great restaurants and shopping and gorgeous sunsets. Also a convenient drive to other parts of the beautiful Island. The charming and lovely Mrs. Jasper is the best of hostesses, always concerned that guests have whatever they need.

I stayed at Mango Hale July 2012 and had a really great experience. I brought along my kids and some of their friends and overall they too enjoyed their stay. The convienence of the beach across street, restaurants next door, were a big plus for us. The home was warm and cozy. However, the kitchen lacked ventalation and lighting above the stove and sink. An updated fan in the kitchen would help to cool the room. We ended up eating most of our meals outdoors because it was cool and breezy. It turned out even better that we spent time outside eating our meals(of course weather permitting). Being that the home is next to the main highway, the traffic noise was a bit much for those who stayed in room nearer to the road. Overall, everything you could possibly want in a vacation home was right there at Mango Hale!!
