Miraflores is a beautiful district of Lima that begun like a beach village long time ago because the Miraflores beach is a very nice one with small waves close to the shore and beautiful waves for surfing, not too far from the shore, and also to surf in the air with a wonderful view.
The main hotels and accommodations of Lima are located in this district that offers a lot of alternatives for having a good lunch, from gourmet to fast food and cafeterias. The best peruvian food is here!!! as well as peruvian-chinnese, peruvian-italian, preuvian-african, french and marine food. Not to menction casinos, antique stores, handicrafts huge stores, and also modern malls by the sea.
You will be close to al of these attractions, including an Inca´s monument called Huaca Pucllana.
Miraflores have also the offices of the airlines, the best travel agencies, and banks. For shopping, it is full of small stores, including groceries, as well as modern malls. For fun: casinos, live shows,disco, dancing, music, original paintings, antiques, and handicrafts.
Finally, there is the Mirabus, an affordable city tour to historical Lima, supported by the Miraflores local government.

I stayed there three months and enjoyed the beautiful gardens, parks close to home, walking distance to restaurants and shopping places. Neigboorhood was safe and decent. House was quiet and well taken care. English speaking landlady was very helpful and solved the problems fast. So it was a nice home for me in Lima

We stayed in this apartment for three weeks in February. It is close to the Lacomar Shopping Centre and only a twenty minute walk to the centre of Miraflores. The owner was very nice, very accomodating and made sure that our needs were met. The apartment is nice and functional with hardwood floors throughout. Since it is not on a main road, it is quiet and we particularly enjoyed the convenience. I would definitely stay here again.

Maria was incredibly nice to us. Our flight was delayed by nearly 2 hours and we arrived at about 2am in Lima. She helped us to arrange for an airport pickup for us (you can request for this beforehand) and the gentlemen was nice enough to wait at the airport despite not knowing that our flight had been delayed. I had also requested for her to buy a small cake as a surprise gift for my boyfriend because it was his birthday on the day we arrived. She made an excellent choice and even provided us with candles! I could only make travel arrangements with Maria via e-mail and she was responded to all my e-mails promptly. The deposit money was sent via Western Union. I know it may be a bit risky to deal with people on the internet and send over the money in advance, but, Maria assured us not to worry, it is safe to do so, and she was very trustworthy. The apartment is cute and small. Comfortable for 2 people. There are some shops and supermarkets walking distance from the apartment. Maria lived in the apartment downstairs with 2 fluffy dogs so we could easily ask her for recommendations, directions, etc. There are lots of pluses for this apartment rental. However, the walls are not sound proof, so, it's easy to hear the neighbors walking around by the corridor outside. So, sleeping in can be a bit challenging. Also, the apartment is quite a distance from the hotspots in Lima, so you need to learn to take public transportation. You can catch taxis quite easily in this neighborhood, but be sure to negotiate as different taxi drivers will charge different prices. Overall, I had a good experience in staying at this apartment.

Manager/owner was very attentive and accommodating. Nice place in a residential area of Mira Flores. Excellent neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants, but you will need to take a cab (very inexpensive) to the heart of Mira Flores. Ideal for longer stay and worked well for my few days in Lima. Great price!

Me quedé 15 dias en el aparta de la arequipa. Me encanto el la ubicacion, es Excelente. El aparta es muy seguro, dentro de un edificio con portero las 24horas. La atencion de la arrendadora es Perfecta,
El apartamento es lindo, comodo, tiene todo lo necesario. La vista es buena, ventanas grandes con buena vista. El baño es muy comodo, limpio.
El cable sirve perfecto y la Internet Wifi también.
A pesar de estar sobre una ruta tan transitada el ruido es muy muy bajo, practicamente no se siente.

I stayed in this unit for 3 months and really liked it. It is safe, has 24/7 security and provided everything I needed. It is in an location with walking distance to the beach and public transport.
