The apartment was cozy and comfortable. There is a view to a park and its within close proximity to everything. The apartment is a one bedroom apartment and very clean. There is plenty of space for your clothes since it has 2 large closets and plenty of drawers on the bed. The water pressure is low but that's all over Peru. The security in the apartment is fine and the staff is very polite and helpful. You can get a taxi right at the front of the building or you can walk about 8 or 9 blocks to Parque Kennedy where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants, night life, movies, a beautiful church and plenty more. Ana, the lady who met us in Lima and is the mother of the owner is very nice. Ana met me at the apartment with her sister...she was very helpful and accommodating. I felt as if I was in my own home. I would certainly go back. As to places to eat within the area, try walking down Calle Berlin...there's plenty of small restaurants where you can get an entire meal between 11:30 and 3:00 for 10 or 12 soles. You get soup or appetizer, your main meal and juice. The currency in Peru is now 2.55 dollars for one Sol.

I visited Lima with my 3 children who are all teenagers. The owner handed me the key to the apartment in person and the transaction was fast and smooth with great communication. The apartment was very clean with a TV, wi-Fi, and blue Ray so my kids felt like they were at home. The kitchen appliances were great for me, I was able to make meals for them with no problems whatsoever. The best thing was the location, very nice and safe. We just walked to the ocean, Larcomar, galleries, museums, and all kinds of restaurants with the best food ever. We really loved the place.
