Cute little place. Upstairs was our unit. Quiet and very short walk to beach. Ocean view. A little outdated but very comfortable. Great for a girls weekend away. The hot tub was great!!!Thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Whale Watch suite. The views were fantastic. Beach access across the street. Doug and Connie very good hosts. Our first day there, Doug and their son, went fishing in the kayaks. We watched them paddle out into the ocean, we could see just little dots. They came back with quite the catch. We want to thank them for sharing with us. Connie prepared some of the best Ling Cod for us. Thank you very much!! We definately would stay again when we are in Lincoln City.

We recently stayed two nights in the cottage. I can't say enough good things about the cottage. It's absolutely lovely. It's a short walk to the beach. We had our own private deck area. The owners have thought of everything to accommodate their guests' stay. I would highly recommend this cottage

We love staying at "By The Waves"! My wife and I had such a refreshing and relaxong time together as we watched 3 of our bonus children play in the sand. Cook for your family or enjoy a meal at so many wonderful restaurants.
Connie is quite the hostess and gifted with hospitality. She is always willing and ready to help us with anything we need.
The house we rented is just across the street from the beach access and view is absolutely breathtaking. Everything is always neat and clean and ready for us when we arrive. The hot tub in the back yard is wonderful as is the jacuzzi inside. There is plenty of room for your family and is also a wonderful place a romantic getaway for you and your spouse. Come and see! You will not be dissapointed and you will come back. We have stayed at By The Waves at least 8 different times.

My best friends and I had the luxury to stay at this cozy place, for the weekend of June 1st-3rd. Five girls and I had the opportunity to kayak at devils lake for the day, watched a show at the roadhouse near by, and take the free shuttle bus from here to the casino, which takes you back at 1:00am. We stayed in unit 5, with a clear view of the ocean that is within walking distance, and enjoyed the full kitchen amenities to cook us a fabulous dinner. Hotel quality bedding, gas stove, and access to the hot tub right off the deck. We appreciated the hospitality of this loving family, and definitely will recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks for the opportunity for a memory of enchantment!

We have stayed at By the Waves many times. It is a wonderful place to relax, listen to and stare at the ocean. A great place to stay, no matter what season it is. The suites are very comfortable with warm interiors and customized decor. Beds are very nice and welcoming. The owners have thought of every amenity you need. Connie, Doug and Dylan are friendly and there for you if you have questions about the area or need anything.

We had a great stay over the Presidents weekend in suite #5. Awesome ocean view and so close to the beach. The suite may be a tad small for 4 adults and a toddler but it is very clean and cozy. We loved the hot tub and the courtyard with the gas grill in the back. Connie and Doug are wonderful hosts. Book this place if you're a "budget traveler". Highly recommended!

Cute place! We stayed a night for our anniversary - in a studio suite, #4. Perfect view of the ocean, even when laying in bed! Speaking of which, the bed was very comfortable. Gas fireplace was a nice relaxing touch. Has a kitchen, fridge, pots, pans, coffee pot, etc., feels like your own little home. Hot tub out back. We'll stay here again.

This is my second time staying here and I love it. I will be going back as often as I can. Doug and Connie, the owners, are the friendliest people you will ever meet. Their rooms are personalized, beachy, clean, and comfortable. Any need you have the owners are more than willing to help. You can see the ocean from the rooms I've been in and it's very relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend them, and have, to everyone I know.

By the waves is a nice quiet getaway across from the beach. Each unit has a great view of the ocean. This the 2nd time we have stayed there. The place has a nice little backyard with a hot tub that you can see the ocean from. The unit we stayed was a studio with a nice big comfortable king bed with a gas fireplace. The room was a comfortable sizw with a kitchen, eating area and TV. It is close to the outlets and lots of great restaurants. There are a couple of restaurants and quaint stores within walking distance. It is the perfect place for a couple to get away and relax. The 2 top units have somewhat narrow stairs and could be a challenge for older folks. Though they do have a unit right at street leave.
Connie and Doug are very nice and helpful. You can call them if you need anything. We look forward to going back again next year if not sooner! -

One of the nicest, cleanest, coziest places I've ever visited. I Didn't want to leave. I loved the ocean view. The beach was so close and there were tide pools. We had such a great time.
