My husband and I have rented every summer for the last ten years and Kim's cottage on Pitcher Pond is one of only three we would even consider returning to! The first thing we appreciated is that it is what is described and in fact better, than described! The view is beautiful and calming and the house itself is absolutely warm, cozy and charming! Our greatest find was that Kim has gone to great trouble in providing everything , and I mean, everything you would need during your stay here. It was the first, and only place where we felt like trusted guests and not as if the owner was assuming any visitors would steal anything not nailed down. The pond is gorgeous and peaceful and the cabin is secluded
enough to feel as if you have privacy. There is a guest house on the property that Kim told us she might need to access during our stay. We were very pleased that our privacy was respected and that she did not , in fact access the house while we were there. She was a very helpful owner...available yet not intrusive! Thank you , Kim for allowing us to experience this little gem! -

Loved the house. It's a very private setting, clean and comfortable. Nice screened in gazebo overlooking the pond, which to my eyes is more a lake. No power boats, just very quiet. Swam with loons! The town of Belfast 10 minutes away is not to be missed for great restaurants and counter-culture shopping.

We had the greatest time in this very special place. It is very peaceful and quiet, yet all holiday amenities are nearby. We enjoied swimming in the lake and nearby Camden offered fabulous restaurants and shopping. The house was lovely and very comfortable.
