Cottage Profile A peaceful holiday at Pleasant Harbour on Lake Huron is what you'll find at this newly constructed 1584 square foot cottage. In front of the cottage are great views of the lagoon area and rocky shoreline, and it is just a short drive to either Tobermory or Lion's Head. There are two screened-in porches at the cottage, one off of the living area and one off of the master bedroom. Both provide excellent views, and the one that is adjacent to the living room is where you'll find a quaint sitting area with table and chairs, a great spot to enjoy your BBQ feast without having to worry about pests buzzing around. The screened-in por...ch off of the master bedroom provides additional seating and is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Inside the cottage you'll find a modern and spacious kitchen with many of the amenities of home including a fridge with freezer, stove/oven, and microwave. Beautiful cabinets and a bright window make this a warm and inviting environment, and there is a table with six chairs for you to use. The living room area has plenty of comfortable seating, whether it be a couch or cozy chairs. At the cottage there is a television for your use, but because it has no channels, it's best to bring your favourite DVD's to watch, using the cottage's DVD player. There are two 3-piece bathrooms at the cottage, one with a tub and the other with a shower. There are 3 bedrooms, two have queen size beds and one has twins beds. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (the one with the tub). There is a firepit by the shoreline for your enjoyment so you can sit after a day of adventures and roast marshmallows. The shoreline directly in front of the cottage is not suitable for swimming (as it is like a stream) but there are plenty of amenities near by like sand beaches, boat cruises and hiking opportunities to keep you occupied during your stay. There is a canoe provided for your use too. Tobermory is 20 km from the cottage, and is where you can find boat cruises (including Glass Bottom Boat Tours, and the Chi Che Maun), and access to Bruce Peninsula National Park at Cyprus Lake. The sand beach at Black Creek Provincial Park is 10 km south of the cottage, and Singing Sands beach is 18 km north.
