What an amazing cottage. It had all the enmities of home - washer, dryer, coffee maker, wireless internet, and much much more. We traveled to Tobermory to enjoy the harbor, and to The Grotto at Cyprus Lake to see all the ice and take in some fantastic hiking. We had campfires everyday roasting spider dogs and marshmellows (nothing beats a wintertime campfire!).
The cottage was very clean, organized, easy to find and had incredible sunsets. We look forward to trying it out in all other seasons. We highly recommend this cottage to families looking to make memories. -

A great family cottage. Plenty of beds to sleep in, including bunk beds for the kids. Two full bathrooms, plenty of cupboard space and washer and dryer. Fully-stocked house including movies, games and video games. A large deck in the backyard with a BBQ and walkout to the very sandy backyard which the kids loved!!! Outdoor games are provided and a fire pit. It is in a great location to get to Lion`s Head (15 minute drive), Sauble Beach, and Tobermory. There`s also two great little beaches within walking distance which the kids loved and actually found lots of shells at. We saw Blue Herons in the morning wading in the creek in the back and lots of bunnies running around. We had absolutely no problems and had such a wonderful family vacation that the kids (aged 2-5) did not want to leave. We can`t wait to go back!!!

If you are looking for a cottage to stay at that is clean, beautiful and very private then the Heart Well is for you.
This cottage is nicely tucked away in a very secluded area. Although it is not right on the water there is a very nice private beach a short walk away, that is very clean and quiet. It is the perfect place to get away from the busy city and relax. It is a short drive to some beautiful day trips to enjoy some of Ontario's most beautiful landscapes and views. There is lots to do within a 30 minute drive if you do not feel like just relaxing the whole time. If you just want to enjoy the company of each other, the massive deck or sandy beach they made is the perfect place to lie out, relax, and soak in some sun and fresh air.
The inside of the cottage is very well maintained and was very clean. It is incredibly spacious and the kitchen has everything you could need to make some great home cooked meals. The barbecue is also there for enjoying a nice summer bbq an nice patio set to eat your meals outside.
The only thing I could suggest this cottage could use is better seating for around the campfire. The logs can be a bit uncomfortable to sit on, they should either grove out the wood to make a flat top to sit on or they should move the logs back so you can fit camping chairs in front of logs at the fire. Also having a couple kayaks or a paddleboat could be fun so you can go down the river to the lake.
This cottage was everything we were looking for to enjoy a private getaway for the 2 of us and our Doggie loved every minute up there.

We had a very nice time at the cottage. It was conveniently located to various places of interest.
The cottage was very well kept and equipped. it was relaxiing. We rented kayaks and paddled to the island.

After looking at a number of cottages we chose this one because it was child and pet friendly (our son was 18 months at the time). It was a great cottage! Private, clean, quiet, with all the amenities to make for an enjoyable vacation. Close to all the great sights in the Bruce Peninsula - make sure you go to Singing Sands Provincial Park for some great swimming! You'll have a wonderful stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Heartwell. It was perfect! The cottage was clean and comfortable, with lots of space and a nice view of Lake Huron. The sand in front of the cottage along with the water inlet was perfect for our young children. Many hours were spent hunting for minnows and frogs. We even saw ducks, turtles and bunnies! There wasn't a cottage in view and we really enjoyed the privacy. Inside was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything we needed was there. We would definately rent this cottage again!
