This cottage was beautiful and very comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and very private. The water is beautiful but difficult to swim from shore. Entry was either via slippery rocks or very silty bottom. Peddle boat and archery set-up were lots of fun and well used by our family.
Want for nothing at this cottage

We were so pleasantly surprised with the beautiful, clean and newly renovated accommodations, all the ammenitites for the kids that were extra and not listed on the web, like bicycles, archery area, goggles, rock shoes if we needed them and all the boats for use added to our spectacular, relaxing and fun stay. We would rent this one again and again!
Wonderful stay at a very uniquely located cottage.

I love the activities included with cottage: archery, 4 kayaks, fire pits.
Great amenities: Gas BBQ, well equipped kitchen, nice deck overlooking Lake Huron.
A short drive away there was plenty to do such as dining, scuba diving, boat tours, lots of hiking and site seeing.
What I liked best: the natural, relatively untouched environment (I think it's called something like an alovar). Directions to the dump were unclear, caused us grief because on the last day there was a wicked Thunderstorm/torrential downpour.
Great sunsets at Sunset View

This cottage is named correctly. The sunsets were incredible. The cottage is clean, spacious, nicely decorated, has a massive deck, 2 fire pits, and has plenty of privacy. There are many things to do and the cottage owners provide quite a few recreational toys for adults and kids. It was exactly as it was advertised on the rental site and the price was very reasonable.
My only complaint is the TV. The set up was weird and we had a heck of a time getting the TV to work properly. There was one remote missing, which didn't help. We got it to work eventually so it was only a minor issue.
We are planning to go back to the cottage in the next few years and have already recommended it to our friends.
