We love Casa del Sol, and it's the second year in a row that we escape there. It's simple and beautiful, very quiet and located at the heart of interesting trails.

Great cottage! Very nice, clean and comfortable but above all, the location including the pond. The turtles, snakes, chipmunks and all those wild tresors were just perfect for the kids. We would go back anytime.

We spent a nice week at a fair price in a lovely, somewhat rustic cottage, not far from comfort, but close enough to nature. We found in this cottage every thing we needed (and more). Although it was not our case, I would not recommend that place for a family with children under 10 (the environment could be hazardous for youngsters). It is a clean and comfortable place, and the sunsets are wonderful. We would (will) return.

This wonderful 3 bedroom cottage has all the comforts of home from the well-appointed kitchen to the international decor. Unlike other cottages I've rented, I never felt like I was scrambling for anything in the kitchen, it was all supplied. The cottage rental comany was easy to work with and convenient as all booking and rental infomation is done via Internet. The cottage is private and has a flat rock beach with ever changing waves that made us feel like we were at the ocean some days. Rainy days were not a problem, there is enough room inside that we didn't feel crowded an the kids still had room to play. Satellite TV was appreciated on those days too! We loved walking the beach and the nightly sunsets were just phenomenal - a different sunset each night. The children loved roasting marshmallows by the beachfront fire pit. One change I would recommend for this property would be an upgrade in the matresses. We had a 2 week stay at the cottage and this detail unfortunately compromised the quality of our rest. They sagged in the middle and no longer offered enough back support especially for the senior members of our family. A small detail, yes, but a vacation is about rest and relaxation. I would highly recommed this property to anyone looking for a natural setting, peace and quiet with all the comforts of home!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cottage and on the Bruce Peninsula. Right on the water, with plenty of shoreline to explore. The kids had a great time looking for frogs in the ponds just outside the backyard as well as crayfishing along the lake. The canoe at the cottage was a joy to paddle in the bay down the road. One of the best vacations I've ever had. The house was just the right size with excellent views of Lake Huron and its sunsets. We'd love to come back sometime.
