Cottage Profile This chalet style cottage is bright, airy, and well maintained. It is located on a private road just 1.6 km from a lovely sand beach. The cottage is not waterfront but is located in a beautiful setting amoung cedar trees, and is just a 5 minute drive to a great sand beach that is perfect for all ages of the family. The living room features a large fieldstone fireplace, complete with firewood for those chilly evenings. Also you will find two couches, and a couple of comfortable chairs for relaxing. This cottage is on a quiet, private road with some lovely neighbours. The cottage is surrounded by forest and trees and felt very private despite being close to neighboring cottages.
We felt the location was ideal...close to Tobermory, short drive into Lion's Head. The beach by the cottage is even nicer than the beach located in Lion's Head. And the stars!! I've never seen so many stars at night!
Just a short walk down the road provided amazing sunsets every night. Only a 3 minute drive to the beach, or a short, safe bike ride or walk (15 minutes maybe). The beach is amazing...warm water, gradual entry, the perfect beach for children.
The cottage was so lovely and clean upon our arrival. Everything we needed was there! Only complaint is that the bed in the main bedroom upstairs was really uncomfortable. This is really the only disappointment for the cottage.
We had an amazing experience with this cottage! Our children (2 and 7) had an awesome time and we created some wonderful family memories thanks to this cozy cottage! We would recommend this cottage to anyone and certainly hope to return next year!
