Cottage Profile Affordable, two bedroom, 800 square foot waterfront cottage located on beautiful Miller Lake, an inland lake in the middle of the Bruce Peninsula not far from the villages of Lion's Head and Tobermory. All the living area of the cottage is located on one floor with an open concept main living area. Large windows allow natural light to filter into the cottage. A sofa, loveseat, futon, and two chairs provide room for everyone in the group to relax and unwind after a long day exploring all the activities that the Bruce Peninsula has to offer. We had a great experience here. The BBQ needed to be cleaned and there were a few small things that we didn't like such as old lamps with cords that need to be replacement (for safety issues) and an awkwardly placed light switch in the kitchen. Overall we had a great time (not including the awful weather we had!) and the view was amazing from the dock.

We had a great time at this cottage. The weather was superb and the water was warm. We enjoyed a rental boat, the kayak and our own canoe. It is nice not to have screens sometimes. The people next door seemed pretty close at times with the noise but this did not affect our time here. We had 3 teenagers and they appreciated the simpler life at this cottage also. Would like to stay again. Hiked Emmett Lake Road to Halfway Log Dump and would recommend this. It was so hot that we swam from large rock to large rock the entire visit to this beach. Water was clear and so refreshing. Will return again.

This is the third time I've been asked to write a review...I don't know if you're not getting them but...
The cottage was in a great location. What struck me the most is that it is very accessible should anyone with a physical challenge rent this cottage. (like myself) It was clean and very spacious.
The only thing my husband and I wished the cottage had, was at least basic T.V. That was something we missed alot, especially not being able to check on news, watch a few favourites, etc...
We had a great time and would recommend this cottage to anyone. Excellent...! -

My family and I had a great time!
The cottage provided only the basics...nothing fancy, but that's all you need with the beautiful waterfront and dock that George's Place has!
We would definantely come back!...maybe next time we stay a canoe will be provided?? :-)
