Cottage Profile This three bedroom, 1000 square foot, waterfront cottage has a western exposure and is located on the shores of Lake Huron. The cottage has one main living area.The dining room and kitchen form one large open room. Living room features include large glass patio doors which face the lake, a cathedral ceiling, ceramic tiled floors and a wood stove (wood provided). The cottage is as on photos. Well maintained with perfect location. Only remark is that renters before us didn't take their garbage to the garbage site, they left it at cottage so one night we had a "bear visit" and they spread garbage all over the road (so, any future renters, please don't keep garbage around the cottage).
The sunsets are unforgettable. Sitting on the deck and listening to the lake is so calming (especially in the evenings when kids go to bad ;) ).
Bruce Peninsula is beautiful and we had day trips almost every day of our stay. There are so many nice beaches to go to and the water was perfect.

The cottage contained everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The yard was great for the kids to play in - far enough away from the water for the safety of the little ones but still close enough to enjoy a fabulous view.
Everything inside the cottage was in good working order. We loved jumping into the lake from the dock and the kids were thrilled to catch their first bass.
Check out time is a bit earlier than most which made cleaning up and getting the gang out on time a bit of a marathon. We also had some difficulty with the lack of nearby basic ammenities but otherwise it was pretty perfect. -

Dealing with Cottage rentals was very easy and when I
had to call to clarify something, it was dealt with
in a friendly and professional manner. What you see
in the pictures is what you get. A well maintained
clean cozy cottage. My kids enjoyed jumping off the
end of the dock into the water and really enjoyed
paddling around in the Kayak. It is very close to
Tobermory if you want a nice day trip. You can get a
great ice cream cone 5 mins up the road in Ferndale.
We had a problem with the TV when we first got there
but this was taken care of very quickly. -

This cottage was perfect for us. The cottage was nice and clean when we arrived. Although the weather wasn't the greatest we made the most out of swimming in the nice, clear lake, having beach fires every night, and enjoying the use of the kayak and canoe.
Great sunsets!!! Enjoyed our stay. -

What we liked best:
- cottage was clean when we arrived
- photos on the website are up to date and accurate
- great view from the dock
- lots of space, was plenty for a couple and would be good for a family
- good location, close to Lion's Head and central to the Bruce Penninsula
What we liked least:
- cement floors were cold and require constant (and noisy) dehumidifiers and fans to run all the time
- lots of noise from one neighbour
- owner had organized a repair person during our stay

I stayed at the cottage with my husband and teenage daughter and son for one week. The cottage has a simple interior with a nice, basic kitchen for preparing meals. One of my favorite things about the cottage was that you could open the blinds in the morning and be at the lake. The dock was a favorite place to read and observe the lake. The canoe and kayak were lots of fun. We enjoyed the slow pace of life at the cottage. The hike to the Lion's Head cliffs overlooking the Georgian Bay was spectacular. We took a day trip (about 4 hours one way)to Niagara Falls and another to Tobermory. We ended up having some below average temperatures a few of the days and needed to use the heaters. I recommend bringing some warm layers of clothing just in case the weather gets cool.

I spend a wonderful week at this cottage(#270)with my family(5 kids,My fiance and my mom and my niece)Lot of room for everybody.The house locating so close to the water just like couple steps.I got my Jetski down there the marine is just 2-3 minutes drive from the house.There is easy access to put the trailer down to the water and this way I kept the watercraft on it on our beach.Lions Head only 10 minutes drive if you need groceries and realy wort it to spend a day on that side to and enjoy the sun on a diferent beach.In the house you can find anything you can emagine you need for cook.Flat panel LCD TV,DVD player,everything you need.I can't say anything bad about our vacation.It was great and We are already planed to rent it out this year.If you have a family I highly recomended for you.You not gonna be disapointed with this cottage.(Only one thing bring spider of spray with you to clean up the deck)
