KitchenerPerfect location and amenities, very relaxing !
Left on 10/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The space was comfortable and roomy. Almost too much like home for a summer cottage stay. Beautiful views around the property. Great beach just up the road. Lots of room in and out for the kid and the dog. Easy access. Pleasant neighbours. Will return.

Stayed here over the Easter weekend at "off season" rates. Lovely place with nice views in back. Privacy is assured too. Many amenities of home including satellite tv and gas line BBQ. Consider this location if you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle. You have to drive to get to things, which is not a complaint, just a warning. If you plan your stay adequately, you will not need to leave until its time to come home! One caution - remember the lock box combination as once you lock the cottage from the inside, you need it to put the key back. ***Highly recommended***

TorontoMore Than We Expected
Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in August 2011
The cottage was cozy, clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there was enough electonic and kitchen gadgetry to keep the teenagers, grandparents and 'foodie' adults entertained when not enjoying the outdoors. We saw a stunning sunset and enjoyed the little beach. As parents we also felt that our teens and 10 year old were safe on the water with the canoe/ kayak supplied and water at our doorstep. The cottage offered privacy and the yard was level and well laid out. We were using the cottage as a home base to do day trips from so the fact that it was not on a scenic waterfront did not deter. There is a lot to see in the immediate area especially if you like hiking and swimming.

OntarioNothing Short of Amazing
Left on 11/05/2009 for a stay in August 2009
The cottage was perfect. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon. The cottage was everything we had hoped for and so much more. We thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and kayaking in the lake. The cottage was clean from top to bottom. The view was nothing short of amazing. We got to eat on the dock and watch the sun set every night. Thank you so much to the owners; we will be returning!

Buffalo, NY and Toronto, ONCharming, Quiet and Scenic
Left on 07/25/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We loved our stay at this cottage. It's charming inside, very comfortable with lots of windows, has a TON of outdoor space (decking almost all around the house, plus a dock where you can sit and watch the lake). It does have a neighbour on one side, but it's generally very quiet and secluded. There is a great sandy beach a very short walk away, which is wonderful for swimming. The roads around the cottage location are quiet and very good for walking, plus it's a reasonable drive away from Tobermory, access to the Bruce Trail and Singing Sands. Lots of wildlife! Definitely recommended. We will stay there again.

Harrow ONNot So Good
Left on 01/23/2009 for a stay in July 2008
Although the home is beautiful, I feel it is misleading. I do not feel this is water front property. It was VERY costly for what it is. I would never rent this cottage again. I was very disappointed as well as the rest of my family. I felt we should have been given a partial refund!

We are sorry the cottage was not to your liking. Regarding your concerns, the web page for the cottage clearly states that the shoreline in front of the cottage is very shallow, rocky and not suitable for swimming. There is a really nice little sand beach only 200 metres away.
